He does suck. He's uninteresting, bland, and boring.
TLH is extremely formulaic so literally anyone can predict how the episode will play out and how the resolution will be.
I only hope "Snoop's On" will have Luna become brash by beating up Lincoln and/or Leni or become extremely pissed because Luna ISN'T supposed to be chill all the time as many people claim she is. She needs to grow a spine, she is an extremely one-dimensional character and is very overrated. Her characterisation is bad so it needs a fix up.
tlh is cancelled sorry
He has schizophrenia
He's no longer the protagonist. He's been reduced to main character.
Considering how bad the writing Season 4 has and its safe conflict, this show reinforces that mentality that if you do something good, you're rewarded and doing something bad, you should be punished. I blame the fandom for making the show remain black & white because they're scared of shades of gray. This show lacks the gray stuff that other shows have.
Season 1 and 2 are the only good seasons. Season 3 is ok but Season 4 is crap
This is too redundant.
People watched the episodes and judged them. The things that felt missing to them is the comedy because Season 4 had either lackluster humour or zero comedy. That and how bad the endings are.
Tbf, there's just quality differences and a turn of a different direction after season 2 was done.
Would you provide a statement on why you think season 3 and 4 are overhated? @Dingodingo43
@Plankton5165 I'm not talking about which characters needs to get punished in certain episodes. I'm talking about how people perceive punishments in this show in general. It's only an issue if people are like "[This character] needs to get punished in [this episode] because of [this reason]" or any sentences like that. But yes, there's a rule against talking about punishments/karma but this isn't breaking a rule since I'm not saying "[This character] needs to get punished in [this episode] because of [this reason]"
I'm not Plankton but I agree that season 4 made the show jumped the shark but with different reasons:
Lackluster comedy. There is barely any comedy in season 4. When it tries to get a jab at jokes, it's either forced or cringe. The humour is stale or there's zero of it.
Zero or "safe" conflict: Almost if not all episodes either has no conflict or the episodes literally plays it too safe just to avoid the audience whine or complain about if characters will come across as jerks. Isn't the point of conflict suppose to contribute to character development and plot?
Did I mention that the writers panders too much on the fandom? Because people complain about the show being dry and "mean-spirited", they resort to bashing or trying to get writers to pander them with stories they wanted so they will quit or cry about things not going in there way. This isn't a damn preschool show. This is why season 4 has less "mean-spirited" stuff. Why the fricking romance crap? Yuck. Romance is overrated. Sam is basically a lump on Luna's back because all Luna episodes has to have Sam involved.
The episodes exchanged the old good stuffs for mediocre/weak stories: In seasons 1 and 2, characters would argue and fight just like in real life siblings. However, season 3 deceased that and season 4 shows it very rare or nonexistent. I don't get why people have to be babies about sibling fights. They have siblings, you have siblings, suck it up.
(For the overall show) The main protagonist soo stale and bland: Lincoln is the worstly written protagonist I have ever seen in other shows. I was glad that Lincoln isn't focused much. However, in many episodes where he's focused, he comes across as he has a martyr complex. Do people not get that why punishments are deserved to Lincoln to an extent? The sisters are more interesting than vanilla Lincoln. Lincoln shouldn't be considered as a protagonist tbh if he's not focused nowadays.
Season 4 made the show suck hard
Strange. do you live outside of the US?
