[Lynn's Table; enter Lincoln and Clyde] Lincoln: "You know what the best part of the school day is? After-school snacks!" Clyde: "I was gonna say homework and the continued pursuit of knowledge, but who am I to pass up a plate of chick-Lynn fingers?" [They share a laugh over it, high-five, and make their way to the kitchen. They stop when they see Lynn Sr. is hosting a presentation.] Lynn Sr.:[using his spatula as a pointer] "And that's the history of how parsley became a garnish." [Grant and Kotaro are taking notes.] Lincoln:[whispering] "My dad's just having another boring staff meeting with Grant and Kotaro." [grabs cheese puffs] "Let's go sit in the dining room and wait for it to finish." [They leave the kitchen as Lynn Sr. erases his whiteboard.] Lynn Sr.: "Last item on the agenda, I've decided to hold the first-ever Lynn's Table employee of the month contest." Grant: "That's awesome, Mr. L." Kotaro: "Cool!" Lynn Sr.: "The winner of this month's award will get a menu item named after him." [Lincoln and Clyde poke their heads into the kitchen, intrigued, though Clyde is still eating his cheese puffs.] Kotaro: "You mean like steak Ko-tartare?" Grant: "Or a Grant-ipasto salad?" Lynn Sr.: "Well, we'll work on the names." [chuckles] Lincoln:[goes wide-eyed] "Clyde, did you hear that? Having a menu item named after you is every kid's dream!" Clyde: "Is it?" Lincoln: "Well, it's my dream. It would make me a Royal Woods legend." [stands on the barstools] "In fact, I could be the most famous Lincoln of all time." Clyde: "Mm, maybe a close second." [The barstools give way from Lincoln's weight, and Lincoln collapses before getting up. He has cheese puffs on his face like a beard and his cheese puffs bag on his head like a top hat, resembling Abraham Lincoln. He then shakes off the Abraham Lincoln silhouette.] Lincoln: "Wish me luck, Clyde. I'm off to win the employee of the month contest." [prepares to enter the kitchen] Clyde: "But you don't work here." Lincoln:[finger-guns Clyde] "Give me 30 seconds." [enters the kitchen] [Lynn Sr. walks out of the freezer with a box of potatoes, scatting to himself, when he sees Lincoln wearing an apron.] Lynn Sr.:[gasps] "Hey, son. Oh, um, are you wearing that apron because you spilled a Flippee on your pants again?" Lincoln: "For once, no. Today, I'm wearing it 'cause I want to help you with the restaurant. I figure we could spend some quality time together, and I can learn more about the old family business." Lynn Sr.:[gets tears in his eyes] "Oh, my gosh." [drops the potatoes and embraces Lincoln] "I have the best son ever." Lincoln: "I better get to work." [breaks out of the hug] "Those tables aren't gonna bus themselves." [He strides out of the kitchen as Lynn Sr. watches with more tears in his eyes, going past Kotaro and Grant, who are washing pots and folding napkins. They take notice.] Grant: "It's nice he wants to help out." Kotaro:[suspicious] "Mm, I don't know. This is Lincoln we're talking about. He doesn't make us call him the Man with the Plan for nothing." [Grant also gets suspicious as they both watch Lincoln.] Grant and Kotaro: "Hmm..."
[Later, Lincoln has a massive stack of dirty dishes and lugs them into the kitchen with much effort. He nearly drops one while entering, but catches it in the nick of time. Lynn Sr. is adding peppers into a bowl of sauce when he's startled by a crash, spilling some of the sauce on the walls. The crash is Lincoln setting all the dirty dishes aside.] Lincoln: "Whoo, boy, lots of dirty dishes today, but then, why wouldn't there be? Everyone loves your awesome cooking." [leaves] Lynn Sr.:[touched] "Aw, shucks." [A teacup at the top of the stack wobbles and falls off, causing the rest of the stack to collapse. The restaurant briefly rumbles as a result. Not hearing that, Lincoln walks out of the kitchen, with a soaking wet Grant and Kotaro watching as they growl. Lincoln collects more dirty dishes when he hears the front door open. It's the Ferrell twins, and he sets the dirty dishes aside as he grabs a menu.] Lincoln: "Hi, Cheryl and Meryl. Table for two?" Cheryl: "Actually, three, snickerdoodle. We just came from an afternoon of bull riding, and we are hungrier than, well, a bull that's had us on its back for the last three hours." [She points behind herself to the very bull they've been riding, which snorts the Farrell twins' hats off and frizzes their hair with its breath. An intimidated Lincoln gestures them to their table, sheepishly chuckling as the bull trots past him. The Farrell twins take their seats, but when the bull joins them, it launches them skywards to the roof.] Lincoln: "I'll give you a minute to decide what you want." Cheryl: "Oh, no need. Bring us your biggest platter of deep-fried everything. But no meat--he's vegan." [Lincoln gives a thumbs up as he slowly scoots away. Back in the kitchen, Lynn Sr. is flipping beef patties when Lincoln enters with a notebook containing the trio's order.] Lincoln: "order up: One kitchen sink, drop it in the hot tub, and hold the moo." [hangs the order up] Lynn Sr.: "Wow, son. Cleaning tables, seating customers, and taking orders that I don't even understand? Huh, you are a triple threat." [Lincoln smiles at that. Meanwhile, Grant is washing cups and Kotaro is delivering orders, both still suspicious of Lincoln.] Grant and Kotaro: "Mm-hmm."
[That night at the Loud House, Lincoln is in bed video-chatting with Clyde on his phone.] Lincoln: "I'm telling you, Clyde, I've got employee of the month in the bag." Clyde: "That's awesome, Lincoln! Seeing your name on the menu is going to give me chills." Lincoln: "Speaking of, check out these ideas I've come up with for my dish." [Outside his room, Lana is eavesdropping] "Tortel-Linky, pork dump-Lincs..." Lana:[gags in disgust] "Ugh." Luna: "Dude." [She, Luan, and Lynn have caught Lana in the act] "What are you doing?" Lana: "Shh. You are not gonna believe what Lincoln's up to now." [As soon as the others start hearing Lincoln continue to rattle off potential dish names, they smirk and nod at each other before joining Lana in eavesdropping.] Lincoln: "...Lincoln-berry pancakes, Linc-orice ice cream..."
NEXT DAY... [Lincoln arrives at Lynn's Table and dons his apron, ready to resume work] Lincoln: "Hey, Dad, I'm ready to get to working--" [sees Luna, Luan, Lynn, and Lana all wearing their own aprons with Luan wearing a toque] "Ah! What are you guys doing here?!" Lynn:[gets in Lincoln's face] "The jig is up, Stinkin'." [Lincoln collapses] "We know you're trying to get a dish named after you, and we came to beat you at your own game." [fist-bumps Lana] Luna: "Yeah, bro. At first, we thought it was really dumb, but then I realized people ordering a Moon Goat cheese salad would be really good for the band." Luan: "And there's nothing fishy about a Luan-chovy pizza." Lana: "I think a dessert called the ba-Lana split sounds pretty yummy." [The three quickly turn to Lynn, realizing that since she's Lynn Jr. and most of the dishes are already named after Lynn Sr., then her potential victory is going to be pointless in the long run.] Lynn:[shrugs] "I just want to win at another thing." [Lynn Sr. enters from the kitchen and embraces his daughters] Lynn Sr.: "Look at my daughters, who also want to spend more time with their old man and learn about the restaurant biz." Sisters: "Totally, Pops." "Uh-huh." [Kotaro and Grant watch all this, even more suspicious.] Grant and Kotaro: "Hmm..."
[Lana is in the kitchen, licking dirty dishes clean.] Lynn Sr.: "Wow, Lana, you are a dirty dish demon." [Lana smiles at that] "But I'm still gonna need you to use the soap, though." [He hands her dishwasher detergent, and while she frowns in disappointment, she shrugs and applies the soap on another dirty dish. She then licks the dish to Lynn Sr.'s chagrin, and then cringes at the taste before putting the dish down. Lynn Jr. then skates past them with a tray of dishes, using a ramp from a kitchen counter.] "Go, LJ, go!" [Lynn skates out of the kitchen and hits a ramp she's set up in front of the door, throwing each of the dishes onto the diners' tables.] Guests: "Ooh." "Oh, wow." [Lynn lands on the floor and poses with her tray and skateboard.] Lynn Sr.: "That's my girl." [Enter Luna with several orders] Luna: "Order up times five, Pops." [She throws the orders on Lynn Sr.'s face, knocking him over. When he gets up, his nose has punctured a hole in one of them.] Lynn Sr.: "I am proud of you times five, Luna." [He hangs the orders up before taste-testing a soup. Nearby, Luan is chopping up a carrot.] "Mm-mmm. Am I tasting paprika?" Luan: "You pepper believe it!" Lynn Sr.: "Oh, that's my budding chef." [They share a high-five. Meanwhile, Lincoln is watching all this from the kitchen window.] Lincoln:[extremely jealous] "I can't believe my sisters." [turns to Grant and Kotaro] "Sneaking in here to try and win employee of the month? They're shameless." [Grant and Kotaro note the hypocrisy and leave.] Kotaro:[sarcastically] "Imagine that." Grant:[also sarcastically] "Who would do such a thing?" Lincoln: "Now to start Operation Eliminate My Sisters So I'm an Employee of the Month and Become the Most Famous Lincoln Ever."
[Lana takes some dirty dishes from a table puts it in her tray before leaving for the kitchen. Lincoln watches her leave, smirks, and dumps a large pile of dirty dishes on the table.] Lynn Sr.:[notices] "Oops. Lana, you missed a table." [Lana notices the giant pile of dirty dishes.] Lana: "What? I just cleared that one, I swear." Lynn Sr.: "Hey, no excuses, kiddo." [Lincoln walks by while chuckling menacingly. Lana notices and groans.]
[Outside, Luna writes down the night's specials as Lynn stands by with a notebook.] Lincoln: "Dad wanted me to tell you he added Lynn-guini to the menu tonight." [Luna and Lynn give him the thumbs-up and add the Lynn-guini to the night's specials. Later, Luna enters the kitchen with some orders.] Luna: "Order up, Pops. I got a lot of folks salivating for your Lynn-guini." Lynn: "Me, too. All six people at table ten want it. Whoops, I mean all ten people at table six." [chuckles] Lynn Sr.: "Whoa, what are you girls talking about? Lynn-guini isn't on the menu tonight. I told you that before." [groans] "Now I have to go tell all the customers." [leaves] [Lincoln snickers to himself near the counter. Lynn and Luna notice and groan.]
[Luan peels a potato and puts it in a bowl of peeled potatoes. She sighs in relief as she wipes her brow from exhaustion. While she isn't looking, Lincoln takes the bowl away and replaces it with a bowl of onions. Oblivious, she takes the bowl of onions and brings it to Lynn Sr., who is chopping carrots.] Luan: "Here are the spuds for your potatoes au grat-Lynn, Dad." Lynn Sr.:[realizes] "Luan, these are--" [The smell gets in his eyes and he starts uncontrollably crying as a result] "These are onions!" [He heads off while still crying. Luan grabs an onion and sees Lincoln laughing in the food storage. She crushes the onion in anger.]
[Later, the sisters are gathered in the freezer. Luna checks if the coast is clear before addressing the others.] Luna: "OK, it's clear that Lincoln is trying to make us look bad so he can beat us out for employee of the month." Lynn:[chuckles] "Well, two can play at that game." Luan: "Don't you mean five?" Lynn: "Nope." [runs out of the freezer and locks the others in] "Sorry, chumps, but I told you, I'm here to win." [leaves] [The others angrily bang on the freezer door.] Luna, Luan, and Lana: "Not nice, Lynn!" "This means war!"
[Later that day, Lynn Sr. calls a staff meeting] Lynn Sr.: "OK, everyone, gather around." [Grant, Kotaro, Lincoln, and Lynn Jr. show up, but...] Luna, Luan, and Lana: "One, two, three..." [They burst out of the freezer, knocking the door down.] Lynn Sr.:[confused] "OK, not gonna ask." [The three join their siblings] "I gotta duck out to meet my duck guy." Luan: "I hope he's not a quack!" [She and Lynn Sr. share a laugh over that as her siblings grimace at her joke.] Lynn Sr.: "That's a good one. Oh, anywho, Kotaro and Grant are in charge until I get back, OK?" [leaves] Kotaro: "OK, let's just stay focused and--" Siblings:[fiercely to each other] "YOU'RE ALL GOING DOWN!" [Grant and Kotaro gasp in worry, dreading the inevitable.]
[Lincoln is mopping the floor, whistling a tune to himself, when he is suddenly knocked away with a giant salami. Lynn, the perpetrator, laughs at him as he lands right into the drink machine, spilling a violet soda right onto a young guest. Lincoln emerges from the soda machine and groans at Lynn. In the kitchen, Luan is mixing a soup when a pot of water boils and begins spilling. Gasping, she grabs the pot and leaves the stove. Lana shows up and brandishes a bottle of hot sauce, laughing to herself, before emptying the contents into Luan's soup, causing the pot to glow red with fire emanating from the soup. Luan comes back and taste-tests her cooking. Thanks to Lana's hot sauce, her face glows red and smoke billows from her ears as she screams in pain from the spiciness of it all. It's enough to blow the roof off the restaurant. Later, Lana has brought some dirty dishes over to the sink. She turns the faucet, but it doesn't seem to be working... until the sink falls off its plumbing and the water bursts out and blasts her. Outside the kitchen, Luna, who turns out to have been the perpetrator due to having a wrench tied to her apron, is refilling the ketchup bottles when Lana gets blasted out the kitchen. Luna laughs at Lana's predicament before resuming refilling the ketchup bottles. However, the ketchup container bursts, covering Luna in ketchup, and Lynn, the perpetrator, laughs at Luna's expense. In retaliation, Luna grabs a ketchup bottle and sprays Lynn in the face with it. Lana has landed next to a customer and grabs his bowl of ground beef before throwing it at Luna, who is now engaged in a ketchup-spraying battle with Lynn. The bowl misses as Luan shows up and hits Luna and Lynn in the face with pies. Lincoln has just wiped the rest of the soda off when the bowl hits him in the face. He grabs some ground beef and lets out a battle cry before throwing it at Lana, who licks it off her own face before grabbing more ground beef in both hands and charging at Lincoln. Meanwhile, Grant and Kotaro are cooking their own soup.] Kotaro:[taste-tests] "Hmm. It needs more tomato." [Suddenly a tomato flies right at them and lands on the wall before falling into the soup. They look out at the dining room as two tomatoes land next to the window. They duck more tomatoes heading their way before seeing the chaos the Louds' competitiveness has devolved into. Luna is firing ketchup and mustard at Lynn, who is using a table as a shield as she throws spaghetti at Lincoln, who is throwing tomatoes at Lynn. Lana is also throwing tomatoes at her siblings while Luan is pelting them with casserole. All the while, customers are trying to escape the fray. One couple is hiding beneath their table before the husband gets hit with spaghetti. Kotaro and Grant gasp and leave the kitchen. Grant approaches Luna while using a serving tray to block her condiment attack.] Grant: "Guys, cut it out!" [swipes away Luna's condiments] Kotaro:[takes away Luan's casserole] "You're acting like children! Which I know you technically are, but still!" [gets hit with spaghetti] [More customers flee from the restaurant as Lynn Sr. comes back with a box of duck] Lynn Sr.:[oblivious] "♫ Can't duck from your duck guy, he's always got a bill-- ♫" [He comes in and witnesses the chaos in front of him. His kids and employees freeze in their tracks, with the couple hiding underneath their table taking the chance to flee.] "Aah!" [Spaghetti sauce lands on him] "My restaurant! My livelihood!" [to his kids] "I can't believe you kids!" [to his employees] "And you! Kotaro and Grant, I expect this behavior from my children, but not from you!" Kotaro: "What?" Grant:[concurrent] "I was just--" Lynn Sr.:[stops them] "You know what, you can forget about winning employee of the month now! Neither of you deserve it!" [storms off] Kotaro and Grant: "Aw." Lincoln: "Wait, Dad, this is all our fault. Grant and Kotaro were only trying to break up our food fight." Luna: "Yeah, the five of us got so caught up in trying to win employee of the month that we lost control." Lynn Sr.:[gasps] "That's what you guys have been up to these last few days, trying to win that award?" [The kids shamefully nod] Lincoln:[sighs] "Yes, but we definitely don't deserve it." Luna: "But Grant and Kotaro do." [The two employees perk up] Luan: "Yeah, they're really good at their jobs." Lynn: "And they give 110% every day. Love to see it." [She slaps their backs, making them wince.] Lynn Sr.: "I'm sorry I blamed you guys. The kids are right. You're both terrific workers. The problem is, I don't know which one of you to make employee of the month." [Grant and Kotaro sigh] Lincoln: "Hang on, I do. And as soon as we clean this place up, we'll help you make the winning dish." [Grant and Kotaro smile at that.]
LATER... [Grant and Kotaro sit at a table in the newly-cleaned Lynn's Table] Kotaro: "This is nerve-wracking." Grant: "I know. Who's it going to be?" [Lincoln comes in with the dish, hidden with a lid, as Lynn Sr. and the sisters show up.] Lincoln: "Presenting the new menu item, named after the first-ever employee of the month, drumroll, please..." [Luna grabs two spoons and drums on a table as Luan unveils the dish, revealing it to be...] Luan: "Ta-da! Egg-Grant parmesan with a side of pasta Kotar-bonara." Grant and Kotaro: "We both win?!" Lynn Sr.: "Of course. You both deserve it. Now dig in." [A cowbell is heard] Kotaro: "Uh, maybe later. We gotta take care of a new regular." [They get up to serve the new regular, which turns out to be the bull from the Farrell twins' rodeo. It snorts as the camera irises out on it. The end.]
