"Alpaca Lies" is the thirty-first episode of the third season, and the one-hundred-sixth episode of The Casagrandes.

Plot[]

Ronnie Anne and Bobby have to deal with an old friend of Arturo's—Beto the Alpaca, but Beto has it out for the kids.

Synopsis[]

Bobby and Ronnie Anne are at Arturo's apartment, playing a VR game, when Arturo shows up and tells them his friend Beto, an alpaca, is visiting. They arrive at the pier as a boat is unloading passengers. Beto has arrived, and he and Arturo hug. Arturo introduces Beto to Ronnie Anne, and Bobby. As Arturo takes Beto's luggage, Bobby shows Beto matching shirts for the two but kicks him into the water. They arrive back at Arturo's apartment and show where Beto will be sleeping. As Arturo goes outside to get Bet's luggage, Bobby plays music from his Peruvian flute, but Beto grins and pulls his pants down. Arturo comes back with Beto's bags and notices the sight. Bobby whispers to Ronnie Anne, telling her to think Beto has it out for them. Later, Arturo is playing a movie titled Evil Hat Man since it's a tradition at his apartment. As he went to grab the drinks, Beto squeezed himself between Ronnie Anne and Bobby and shoved Ronnie Anne off the couch. She asks him to pass the popcorn, but Beto shoves the popcorn bowl on top of her. Arturo comes back to see the mess she made, and Ronnie Anne tells him it was Beto. He tells her that Beto was a neat freak when they lived together. Later that night, Ronnie Anne, Bobby, and Beto are about to go to sleep when Bobby sees a series of family photos covered up with Beto's. He shows them to Ronnie Anne and knows they have to tell their father, Beto is bad news.

The next day, Bobby and Ronnie Anne approach Arturo in the kitchen with the photo. Unknown to them, Beto is spying on them from a potted plant. Ronnie Anne tells Arturo Beto hates them, and as Booby is about to show the photo, Beto snatches the photo from Bobby's hand. Arturo tells the kids they're being ridiculous, and Beto loves them. As he goes to get his camera, Beto kicks Bobby into the sink. The kids go outside, knowing that if they don't do something, they'll have to deal with Beto every time they hang out with their father. Bobby mentions that if they can prove that Beto is evil, their father has to get rid of him. Ronnie Anne tells him Beto won't act out in front of their father, so they'll have to be sneaky and make sure Arturo catches Beto in the act.

At the park, the two are pushing Beto near the fountain. They then spot Arturo on his daily walk, knowing it's go time on their plan. Bobby goes to join Arturo while Ronnie Anne stands on the fountain. Beto sees an opportunity to push her into the fountain. As the boys were about to approach them, Bruno announced hot dogs for two for one, and Arturo went to him. Beto then shoves Ronnie Anne into the fountain, calling for help. Arturo hears her cries, but Beto jumps into the fountain and saves her. Back at Arturo's apartment, the kids next plan is to use Bobby's phone to record Beto in the act. Bobby enters the kitchen while Beto is reading a newspaper, begging him to kick him into the fridge. His phone then rings due to Lori calling. Beto spots the phone in Bobby's shirt pocket, rips his shirt off, and stomps on the phone. Ronnie Anne enters, knowing they need to pull out all the stops. Later, Beto and Arturo are playing a VR game when the kids enter and want to take Beto for a walk for some ice cream. Instead, the kids are at the pier, dragging Beto back to the boat he arrived on. They tossed him onto the boat, but he caught himself in the doorway and kicks Ronnie Anne and Bobby into the water. Ronnie Anne gives up, knowing that as long as Beto is with them, they won't spend time with their father.

Later, the kids are home relaxing when Rosa tells them to turn on the TV. Ernesto Estrella was spotted in town at the pier with a pimple on his forehead. The kids see that the camera shows Beto kicking them into the water, which is the proof they need. Later, they show Arturo the video, and he calls Beto. He tells Beto he saw the video and is disappointed. He informs Beto that he'll be sending him back to Peru in the morning. The next morning, Beto and Arturo shared one last hug before Beto went on the boat. After he goes on the boat, Arturo starts crying behind some crates. Hating seeing their father cry, the kids decide to stop the boat. They walked up to Beto and wanted to talk. Ronnie Anne tells him that despite getting off to a bad start, they can agree on one thing: they all love Arturo. Bobby adds that maybe the three can get along for their father's sake. The three share a hug. Ronnie Anne tells Arturo they want Beto to stay and are going to work things out. He hears the news and is happy, but the boat is leaving the pier. Arturo jumps in the water and climbs on the boat, and the four share a hug.
