Episode Information

"Antiqued Off" is the forty-seventh episode of the third season, and the one-hundred-forty-eighth episode of The Loud House, as well as the final episode of the third season to air.

Plot

When Clyde and schoolmate Zach begin bonding over a mutual interest in antiques, Lincoln quickly finds himself feeling like a third wheel.

Synopsis

At the elementary school, Lincoln greets himself to Clyde in a similar way to a magician. Lincoln says that last night, he and Clyde went to see a performance from The Amazing Brailster, a famous magician, and bought a few smoke bombs during the show. Clyde says that he wants to invite Lincoln to a flea market for some antiquing. However, Lincoln, who's not much into antiquing, declines the offer, and suggests that Zach tags along with him instead, and Zach agrees.

The next day, at the school library, Lincoln notices that Clyde has bought a horde of antiques, and Zach, now fully invested in antiquing, reveals his stash as well. At the McBride house, Lincoln is prepared to hang out with Clyde, but learns that Zach is with him, cleaning the antiques they collected. Sometime later, Lincoln, Clyde and Zach are having lunch, and Zach impresses Howard by revealing some of his newfound knowledge on antiques on the silverware and tableware being used. Later, the three decide to watch TV, and when Lincoln suggests they see a monster movie, Zach suggests that they watch a program about antiques, and Clyde agrees with Zach's decision. After watching the show for a while, Lincoln decides to leave after finding out that Clyde and Zach came up with a nickname for their own friendship.

At the Loud House, Lincoln lies on his bed, when suddenly, he gets an email saying that The Amazing Brailster is hosting a top secret performance today, and the email encourages him to bring a friend. Thinking that Clyde will be too busy antiquing with Zach, he decides to call up Liam, Rusty, and Stella if they would like to come along, but they all deny, saying that they'll be busy tonight. At Flip's Food & Fuel, Lincoln attempts to get a Flippee to go, but discovers that Liam, Stella and Rusty are at the store as well. When Lincoln questions why they lied, they reveal that they find magic to be boring (while Liam finds it more disappointing). They also reveal that the last time Lincoln and Clyde went to go see The Amazing Brailster, Lincoln was the only one who enjoyed it, while Clyde wasn't happy with it, saying that the only reason why Clyde tagged along in the first place was because he was just that nice. Lincoln eventually realizes that he hasn't been doing the same, and decides to fix things.

S3E25B Lincoln Smiled to the End

Even with no common interests, they're still friends.

The next day, Lincoln arrives to Clyde's house, and says that he (Lincoln) was a bad friend, and says that in order to make up skipping out on the antiquing trips, he bought three tickets for the Royal Woods Antique Hour for himself, Clyde and Zach, and Clyde and Zach, surprised by this announcement, happily tag along, making Lincoln appreciate that it's perfectly normal to have multiple friends tag along.

Cast

Lincoln's Classmates, Hattie, Mollie, and Andrew have no lines in this episode.
