He is one of Luan's schoolmates and also her boyfriend. Biography Benny made his first appearance in "L is for Love" as Luan's crush. When the Loud kids are trying to figure out which one of them was the intended recipient of the love letter, Luan gives Benny a sign of her affection by placing a whoopee cushion on his chair, and later tosses a pie in his face as a token. At the end of the episode, Luan gets Benny's attention by teasing him with a love letter attached to a fishing rod. In "Stage Plight," he and Benny audition for the school's production of Romeo and Juliet. They are initially cast as a Montague family member and a Capulet family member, respectively, but are then promoted to the title roles when Mrs. Bernardo takes notice of their chemistry. After a shy Luan continually makes excuses to get out of rehearsing the kissing scene, Benny quits the play, thinking that Luan is uncomfortable with him playing Romeo. He and Luan eventually confess their mutual feelings of affection for each other, and share their first kiss. He and Luan go on their first official date in "A Pimple Plan." After finding out about her pimple that she's been trying to hide all through the date, Benny tells Luan that he doesn't mind it and that he loves her regardless. Personality Like Luan, Benny is a fun-loving boy with a fondness for comedy. He likes school plays, miming, and jokes. He presumably likes baking, as he made macarons with his mom before his date with Luan in "A Pimple Plan." He's very accepting towards Luan, because he it doesn't bother him that Luan has zits or doesn't like Japanese robot figures like he does. He's not a zany comedian like Luan, but he sure enjoys her sense of humor and appreciates her wicked skills when it comes to prop comedy. He wears a two-tone light blue and white button up shirt, dark gray jeans, and white sneakers. As of "Stage Plight," his nose is slightly rounder and his hair is neater. Trivia His last name, Stein, was revealed in Winter Special. Because of this, he shares the same name with American actor Ben Stein. Benny looks similar to Joey, but with darker brown hair, and without freckles. In the Listen Out Loud episode "Luan and Benny's Comedy Class", it's revealed that he has a neighbor, who leads a group of werewolf enthusiasts. His Polish name is Benedict in "Stage Plight", but in "A Pimple Plan", his Polish name is Benjamin like it is in English. In "Stressed for the Part", it is revealed that he has a weekend job at Dairyland Amoosement Park. It is revealed in "Dread of the Class" that he is enrolled in Luan's pranking academy alongside Ronnie Anne, plus he is capable of mimicking Luan's voice perfectly. Because he was voiced by Jessica DiCicco and Cristina Pucelli at least once each, he is currently the only character to be voiced by two of the Loud sisters' actresses as well as his own. He is one of the few characters to change designs during the series the other being Ronnie Anne, Kate Bernardo, Lily, Chandler, Girl Jordan, Boy Jordan, Flip, Sid, Stella and Mr. Bolhofner.
