In "It's a Loud, Loud, Loud, Loud, House", Charles poops out Lana's dollar and all the Loud kids except Lana are disgusted by that. In "11 Louds a Leapin'", Charles (along with Cliff, Geo, and Walt) accompanies the Louds (and the McBrides) when they sing to Mr. Grouse. In "The Sweet Spot", it's revealed that at one point in the recent past, Charles peed in Vanzilla, grossing Lincoln, who was nearby, out. In "Picture Perfect", Lincoln tries to include Charles in the family photo, but gets frustrated by him chasing Cliff. For the second photo, Lincoln puts a sweater on Charles. In "Butterfly Effect", Charles reacts to Lincoln's suggestion of not telling Lisa about her spilled solutions as though it was a bad idea. Lincoln also imagines being able to understand Charles's barks, and in the same fantasy, Charles is shown to not understand that Lincoln was asking a rhetorical question when he said, "Don't you have a couch to poop on?" In "Chore and Peace", Lincoln takes out the trash, which includes Charles's poop. In "One Flu Over the Loud House", Lincoln is frightened to see Charles (along with Cliff, Geo, and Walt) sick with the flu. In "Pets Peeved", Lincoln apologises to Charles for kicking him out of his bedroom to leave room for Watterson. In "Not a Loud", Lincoln eats some of Charles's food to see if he's part beagle, but it makes him puke. In a flashback in "Deal Me Out", Lincoln at around age six or seven once mistakenly thought Charles tracked mud through the living room, when it was actually Lana. In "Love Birds", Charles steals two of Lincoln's polo shirts to create a beach scene for Walt. In "Family Bonding", Lincoln blackmails Charles into finding a way inside the Millers' house so he can earn a hot dog. In "Time Trap!", Lincoln claims that Charles was responsible for protecting their parents' vase. In "Skatey Cat", Lincoln prevents Charles from catching Geo by taking advantage of Geo's ball. In "No Guts, No Glori", Lori says to Charles, Cliff, and Geo that she expects obedience even from those who are 'covered in fur and can only understand the word "sit"'. Charles promptly sits upon hearing the word. In "Change of Heart", Charles pees on a snow sculpture of Lori as an angel. In "Selfie Improvement", he attacks Lori when she tries to put a sweater on him. In "Schooled!", he eats a slice of Lori's pancakes when she lowers it down to his level. In "Back in Black", Lucy spies on Rocky in Charles's doghouse. In Living Loud: Surprise Party, Lucy reminds Lincoln, Clyde, and the Santiago siblings to bring Charles to Lori's birthday party. Lana[]![]() Lana hugging Charles. As the family's biggest animal lover, Lana loves Charles. Sometimes she even eats his food. In "Undie Pressure", Lana is tempted to play in the mud despite being told not to on a bet after seeing Charles (and Cliff) playing in it. She then curls up in Charles's bed. In "Chore and Peace", Lana picks up Charles's poop and puts it in the trash bag Lincoln was carrying, referring to the stool euphemistically as a "present". In "Tea Tale Heart", Lola buries Rosie next to Charles's doghouse. In "Love Birds", Charles steals the lemonade (which Lola wanted to drink) out of the refrigerator to make Walt and his girlfriend feel like they are at the beach. In "The Maltese Bear", Charles steals Lola's teddy bear Mr. Sprinkles, to get the money for reasons unknown. Lisa[]![]() Charles coughing up a potion Lisa made. Despite Lisa's tendency towards animal testing and the fact that she sees attachment to animals as irrational (see "Baby Steps") Lisa seems to actually love Charles, as evidenced by "Pets Peeved" where she cries along with all her siblings when Charles (and Cliff, Geo, and Walt) goes missing. In "Linc or Swim", he drinks one of Lisa's formulae, which makes him throw up but he seems fine afterwards. In "Pets Peeved", Charles steals Lisa's slide projector. In "Love Birds", Charles steals the incubation lamp needed for Lisa's crocodile eggs to create a beach scene for Walt. In "How Double Dare You!", Lisa builds a robot, who covers Charles in non-stick vegetable shortening. She involves the dog in a challenge for Lincoln and Leni to determine who should be her partner for Double Dare. Later, DareBot curls Charles's fur and puts a bow on him. In "Eye Can't", Lisa bumps into Charles and mistakes him for the trash can. Lily[]![]() Lily rides on Charles. Lily loves Charles and they often play with each other. In "Lock 'n' Loud", Charles tries to eat some bacon off Lynn Sr.'s butt, but accidentally hurts him. In "Pipe Dreams", Charles coughs up Lana's lucky chicken bone in Lynn Sr.'s (and Rita's) secret bathroom, causing them both to think Lana was in there, which makes Lynn Sr. install a lock. In "Pets Peeved", Charles (and Cliff, Geo, and Walt) eat Lynn Sr.'s liverwurst, shrimp, and hot mayo casserole to frame Watterson, but it makes them throw up. In "Home of the Fave", Charles becomes jealous of Cliff when the latter sits on Lynn Sr.'s knee. In "Love Birds", Charles steals Lynn Sr.'s uncooked lasagna out of the oven for Walt and his girlfriend to eat. He later steals his wave machine to create seaside sounds for the beach scene the he and the other pets made for Walt. In "Feast or Family", Charles enjoys some spaghetti made by Lynn Sr. and Luan. In "So Long, Sucker", Charles hates the robot vacuum cleaner that was bought by Lynn Sr. In "King of the Chair", Lynn Sr. tells Charles not to get mud on the new chair, and then bathes Charles. In "Live Life Loud!", Charles eats some of Lynn Sr.'s lasagna. Rita[]![]() Rita walks Charles. Charles and Rita get along well. In "Pipe Dreams", Charles coughs up Lana's lucky chicken bone in Rita's (and Lynn Sr.'s) secret bathroom, causing them both to think Lana was in there. In "Rita Her Rights", Rita feeds Charles and walks him. She also exploits him by using not picking up his poop as one of her crimes. In "Undercover Mom", Leni claims that Rita is the only person whose lap Charles willingly sits on. He recognizes her in her "Brita" disguise this way and blows her cover by snatching her wig. McBride family[]Generally[]Charles gets along okay with the McBrides, but he doesn't have many interactions with them. In "11 Louds a Leapin'", he accompanies the McBrides (along with the Louds, Geo, Cliff, and Walt) to sing to Mr. Grouse. In "Tripped!", the McBrides pet-sit Charles (along with Cliff, Geo, and Walt). In "Deal Me Out", a younger (about six or seven years old) Clyde thinks Charles tracked mud through the Loud house, when it was actually Lana. In "Game Boys", Charles attacks Clyde when he eats the sausage meant for him. In Living Loud: Surprise Party, Clyde doesn't want to touch Charles and claims he's allergic to dogs, although this information is pretty dubious as he also claims to be allergic to cats, which he evidently isn't.' In Ace Savvy on the Case, Clyde wrongly suspects Charles of tearing a page out of Lucy's notebook due to the nearby clump of black hair. Mr. Grouse[]Mr. Grouse is somewhat friendly to the Louds, but at times, Charles can give him problems. In "Cooked!", Charles poops in Mr. Grouse's yard, and the latter wants the Loud family to pick it up for him. In "Love Birds", Charles cuts all of the leaves off of Mr. Grouse's philodendron plant to create a beach scene for Walt.
