This is a page detailing Cliff's relationships with other characters. Loud family[]Other pets[]Generally[]Cliff is often seen alongside Charles, Geo, and Walt and he gets along well with all of them. He is not, however, typically seen socialising with Fangs, Gary, Hops, Bitey, Izzy, Ducan, or El Diablo, but he doesn't try to eat Gary or Bitey either despite cats normally eating rabbits and rats. Charles[]![]() Charles and Cliff play in the mud together. Cliff and Charles get along very well. Even though there's an expression "fighting like cats and dogs", Cliff hardly ever fights with Charles and if they do, Geo and Walt are usually involved. In "Picture Perfect", they chase each other. In "Undie Pressure", Charles kicks mud onto Cliff. In "Pets Peeved", they, along with Geo and Walt, hatch a plan to get rid of Watterson. In a flashback in "Head Poet's Anxiety", Cliff attends Charles's first birthday party. In "Home of the Fave", Charles is jealous of Cliff when the latter sits on Lynn Sr.'s knee. In "Love Birds", they, along with Geo, help find Walt a girlfriend. Charles also uses one of his whiskers to create a fake mustache for Walt. In "Feast or Family", they accidentally kiss while eating spaghetti. In "Slice of Life", they (along with Geo and Walt) squabble over the Loud kids' abandoned slice of pizza. In "So Long, Sucker", Cliff and Charles (along with Walt and Geo) sleep together and conspire to get rid of the robot vacuum together. Later, they work together to clean the house. Geo[]Even though a lot of cats would try to eat hamsters, Cliff and Geo get along well. In "Pets Peeved", they, along with Charles and Walt, scheme to get rid of Watterson. In "Home of the Fave", Geo is jealous of Cliff when the latter sits on Lynn Sr.'s knee. In "Love Birds", Geo accompanies Cliff (along with Charles) in finding a girlfriend for Walt. In "Slice of Life", they argue over the Loud kids' abandoned slice of pizza along with Charles and Walt. In "So Long, Sucker", Cliff and Geo (along with Walt and Charles) sleep together and conspire to get rid of the robot vacuum together. Later, they work together to clean the house. Walt[]![]() Walt gives something to Cliff. Walt gets along well with Cliff even though cats usually eat birds and Walt is grumpy. In "Pets Peeved", they scheme to get rid of Watterson, along with Charles and Geo. In "Home of the Fave", Walt is jealous of Cliff when the latter sits on Lynn Sr.'s knee. In "Love Birds", Cliff helps hook Walt up with a female duck. In "Slice of Life", Walt and Cliff fight over the slice of pizza the Louds left on the floor, along with Charles and Geo. In "So Long, Sucker", Cliff and Walt (along with Charles and Geo) sleep together and conspire to get rid of the robot vacuum together. Later, they work together to clean the house. Humans[]Generally[]The Louds love Cliff a lot. He loves them back, although sometimes he can be naughty and scratch them or go outside his litter box. In "11 Louds a Leapin'", he accompanies the Louds when they sing to Mr. Grouse. In "Pets Peeved", the Louds all cry when Cliff (along with Charles, Geo, and Walt) goes missing. In Clean-O-Clock, the Loud kids (except Lily) can all clean up his (and Charles's) pawprints. In "So Long, Sucker", Cliff, along with Charles, Cliff, and Walt, fears being locked out of the house in the rain by the Louds for making a mess. Lincoln[]![]() Lincoln sneaking past a sleeping Cliff. Lincoln and Cliff love each other a lot. In "Left in the Dark", Lincoln sees Cliff using his scratching post and reassures his sisters that the scratching is Cliff, not a ghost. In "No Guts, No Glori", Lincoln gets frustrated when Cliff goes outside the litter box. In "The Sweet Spot", Lincoln accidentally stands on Cliff. In "Picture Perfect", Lincoln tries to include Cliff in the family portrait but Cliff doesn't stay still. He later puts a sweater on Cliff to make him look more dignified. In "Overnight Success", Cliff attacks Lincoln when the latter tries to get him out of a tree, and again when the latter is changing Lily's diaper. Later, when Lincoln is presenting his case for a sleepover, Cliff nearly attacks Lincoln again, but refrains from his assault. In "Chore and Peace", Lincoln takes out the trash, which includes Cliff's soiled kitty litter. In "One Flu Over the Loud House", Lincoln is scared when he sees Cliff (along with Charles, Geo, and Walt) sick. In "Study Muffin", Lincoln pulls Hugh away from an affectionate Cliff. In "The Whole Picture", he and Clyde dress Cliff as a lion. In "No Spoilers", Lincoln lies to Leni that she can communicate with Cliff by blinking, so she doesn't learn of Rita's surprise party. In "Deal Me Out", Lincoln and Clyde suspect Cliff of walking mud through the house when the boys were about six or seven. In "Love Birds", Cliff steals two of Lincoln's polo shirts to create a beach scene for Walt. In "No Bus No Fuss", Lincoln panics over misplacing his backpack, which he almost immediately remembers that Cliff was napping on. In Living Loud: Lincoln's List, Lincoln feeds Lisa's experimental cookie to Cliff. In Living Loud: Summer School, Lincoln gives Cliff a fish. In Living Loud: Surprise Party, Lincoln can pick up Cliff. In "Speaking Sibling", Lincoln goes off to change Cliff's litter box. In the game Pick a Path, Lincoln feeds Cliff a fish. In Ace Savvy on the Case, Lincoln mistakenly thinks Cliff tore a page out of Lucy's notebook, however, he discounts him when he realizes that the page was cut rather than bitten, and that it was done by someone who can read. Cliff also follows Lincoln to school, to the park, and to the movies. Lori[]![]() Lori glares at Cliff. Cliff is generally very obedient to Lori. In "No Guts, No Glori", Lori tells Cliff, Charles, and Geo that she expects everyone to obey her, even those who are "covered in fur and can only understand the word 'sit'." Cliff promptly sits. Later, he is about to go outside his box when Lori glares at him, so he uses the box. In "Picture Perfect", Lori knits Cliff (along with Charles, Geo, and Walt) a sweater. In "Pets Peeved", Lori shines a laser pointer for Cliff to chase. In "A Fridge Too Far", Lori throws some caviar away, which Cliff eats. Later, when he throws it up (along with the pate and the uni), she is the first to spring to his defence when Lynn Sr. is mad at him. In "Selfie Improvement", she tries to photograph him in a sweater, but he attacks her. In "Schooled!", she falls down the stairs and scares Cliff. In "Time Trap!", Lori's siblings use Cliff's litter box as a sand trap for a mini-golf course they set up for her. Lori ultimately handles the sand trap with ease by allowing the golf ball to bounce off of Cliff's back. In Living Loud: Surprise Party, Cliff attends Lori's birthday party. Leni[]![]() Leni and Cliff hang out together. Cliff and Leni don't interact much, but they do get along. In "Left in the Dark", Leni is scared by the noise of Cliff using his scratching post and thinks it's a ghost. In "No Spoilers", Leni, due to Lincoln's lie, thinks she can communicate with Cliff by blinking. In "Pets Peeved", Leni chases the laser pointer with Cliff. In "Love Birds", Cliff steals Leni's beach umbrella to create a beach scene for Walt. In "All the Rage", Lincoln claims Leni once dressed up Cliff as Santa Claus, on Halloween. Luna[]Cliff doesn't have many interactions with Luna but they get along fine. In "Heart and Soul", Luna attempts to use Cliff in her ClikClok music video, but he attacks her during the set-up. Luan[]![]() Cliff on Luan's knee. Cliff doesn't like Luan's jokes, but other than that their relationship is good. In "April Fools Rules", she shaves him, along with Charles, Geo, and Walt. In "Garage Banned", she holds up Cliff to make a joke about a CAT scan. In "A Fridge Too Far", she throws a sea urchin into the trash, which he eats. In a flashback in "Head Poet's Anxiety", Cliff wasn't interested in Luan's jokes, but unlike Charles, he didn't do anything rude. In "Feast or Family", he enjoys some spaghetti cooked by her and Lynn Sr. Lynn[]![]() Lynn annoyed by Cliff's kneading with claws out. Lynn and Cliff get along fine, but they don't have many interactions. In "Pets Peeved", Cliff tries to sleep on Lynn's bed, then on Lynn, but both times she declines. The first time was in order to make room for Watterson and the second time was because Cliff had his claws out. In "No Spoilers", she makes a snide remark about the balloons making the party look like his litter box. In "No Place Like Homeschool", Lynn accidentally scares Cliff. In "Pipe Dreams", Rita and Lynn Sr. think Lynn caused a mess that was actually caused by Cliff. In Living Loud: Lincoln's List, he sits on her bowling ball. Lucy[]![]() Cliff on Lucy's head. Lucy likes Cliff a lot despite her generally disliking cutesy things. Despite the association of witches and black cats, Lucy never seems to bring this up with Cliff. In "Back in Black", Cliff jumps on Lucy because she was wearing anchovy-flavoured perfume and stays on her while she runs away. In Living Loud: Surprise Party, Lucy reminds Lincoln, Clyde, and the Santiago kids to bring Cliff to the party. In "Party Down" and "Spell It Out", Cliff has his paw in Lucy's hand when she tries to do a seance. In Ace Savvy on the Case, Cliff is suspected of tearing a page out of Lucy's notebook, but it turns out to actually have been Lucy herself. Lana[]![]() Lana making Cliff lick up a milk spill. Lana loves animals and Cliff is no exception. In "Along Came a Sister", Cliff coughs up a hairball and Lana picks it up to determine that what they thought was the body of Frances is actually another hairball. In "Chore and Peace", Lana changes Cliff's litter box and refers to the soiled kitty litter as a "special delivery". In "11 Louds a Leapin'", she accidentally catches him in her reindeer trap. In "Potty Mouth", Lola uses Cliff to Lana's expense by pointing out that Lily was distracted by Cliff and didn't see Lana hitting her finger, so Lana should do it again. Lola, however, does not blame Cliff for this. In "Head Poet's Anxiety", it's revealed that Lana was only a baby when she found Cliff. In "Love Birds", Cliff steals all of the sand out of the sandbox to create a beach scene for Walt, leaving Lana confused. In "Sofa, So Good", Lana cleans up a milk spill by making Cliff lick it off the floor. Lola[]Lola and Cliff don't interact much, but they generally get along fine. In "Along Came a Sister", she is grossed out by him coughing up a hairball at Frances's funeral. In "Potty Mouth", Lola exploits the fact that Lily was distracted by Cliff and tells Lana to bang her finger again. In "A Fridge Too Far", she throws some duck liver pate into the trash bin, which Cliff eats. In "Love Birds", Cliff steals the lemonade (which Lola wanted to drink) out of the refrigerator to create a beach scene for Walt. In "King of the Chair", he scares her into spilling her nail polish. Lisa[]Even though Lisa tests things on animals and she views attachment to pets as irrational, she does care about Cliff. In "Back in Black", Cliff enjoys the anchovy-flavoured perfume that Lisa invented. In "Pets Peeved", Lisa calls Cliff her felis cattus. In "Garage Banned", Cliff is used by Luan for a joke on Lisa, when Lisa suggests scanning Lori's brain and Luan suggests a CAT scan, holding up Cliff. In "A Fridge Too Far", Lisa throws away some beet juice and accidentally drenches Cliff in it. In "Friend or Faux?", when Lisa mentions a CAT scanner, Darcy mistakenly thinks she is talking about Cliff. In "Love Birds", Cliff steals the incubation lamp needed for Lisa's crocodile eggs to create a beach scene for Walt. In "Eye Can't", Lisa pets a skunk, mistaking it for Cliff, and it causes her, along with Cliff himself, Leni, and Lincoln to get sprayed by the skunk. In Living Loud: Lincoln's List, he eats her third experimental cookie (the first was eaten by Lisa herself and the second by Lincoln). Lily[]![]() Lily being pulled along by Cliff. Lily and Cliff get along well. In "11 Louds a Leapin'", they both get caught in Lana's reindeer trap together. In "Potty Mouth", she points at him and says, "Kitty cat!". In "Rita Her Rights", Cliff pulls Lily along on a skateboard. Lynn Sr.[]![]() Cliff on Lynn Sr.'s knee. Cliff and Lynn Sr. don't usually interact, but they get along fine. In "Overnight Success", Lynn Sr. enjoys the video with Cliff in it (even though Cliff was attacking Lincoln) because he likes cat videos. In "Attention Deficit", Cliff pitches a baseball at Lynn Sr. after being woken up and startled by his saxophone playing. In "Pets Peeved", Cliff, along with Charles, Geo, and Walt, eats something Lynn Sr. made to frame Watterson, but it makes him and the others throw up. In "A Fridge Too Far", Lynn Sr. buys ingredients, which the kids throw in the trash. Cliff eats these ingredients, but this makes him throw up. In "Pipe Dreams", Cliff makes a mess with Lynn Sr.'s (and Rita's) toilet paper, which they think Lynn Jr. did. In "Home of the Fave", Cliff sits on Lynn Sr.'s knee, making Charles, Geo, and Walt jealous. In "Feast or Family", Cliff enjoys some spaghetti cooked by Lynn Sr. and Luan. In "Recipe for Disaster", Cliff brings in Lynn Sr's scrapbook. In "Love Birds", Cliff steals Lynn Sr.'s uncooked lasagna out of the oven for Walt and his girlfriend to eat. He later steals his wave machine to create seaside sounds for the beach scene the he and the other pets made for Walt. In "A Bug's Strife", Cliff is kicked out of the Loud House alongside the other pets so Lynn Sr. can have peace and quiet. As payback, he snickers when Lynn Sr. accidentally locks himself out of the house. He also enjoys watching Lynn Sr.'s fruitless attempts to get back inside, eating popcorn and maliciously taking a picture of Lynn Sr.'s thorn-covered butt. In "Speaking Sibling", Lynn Sr. asks Lincoln to change Cliff's litter box. In "So Long, Sucker", Lynn Sr. buys a vacuum which Cliff hates. In "King of the Chair", Cliff inadvertently causes Lola to spill nail polish on Lynn Sr.'s chair. In "Live Life Loud!", Cliff eats some of Lynn Sr.'s lasagna. Rita[]Rita loves Cliff even though they don't interact much. In "Rita Her Rights", she feeds him. In "Pipe Dreams", Cliff makes a mess with Rita's (and Lynn Sr.'s) toilet paper, which they think Lynn Jr. did. In "Live Life Loud!", Rita and Cliff plan to watch TV together, but she gets sidetracked when she notices the TV is crooked. McBride family[]Generally[]Cliff gets along OK with the McBrides, though they don't interact very much. In "11 Louds a Leapin'", Cliff accompanies the McBrides (and the Louds) when they sing to Mr. Grouse. In "Tripped!", the McBrides babysit Cliff (along with Charles, Walt, and Geo). In Living Loud: Surprise Party, the McBrides strangely call Cliff "the horrific allergy machine" even though none of them are allergic to cats and they don't usually express animosity towards Cliff. Clyde[]![]() Clyde looks at Cliff through a magnifying glass. Clyde likes cats, so he generally gets along OK with Cliff. In "The Whole Picture", Cliff, dressed as a lion, attacks Clyde, who was pretending to be a lion tamer. In "Deal Me Out", Clyde (along with Lincoln) suspects Cliff of tracking mud through the Loud house when it was actually Lana. This occurred when the boys were around six or seven. In "Game Boys", Clyde worries that a muddy Cliff would dirty his games console. In Living Loud: Surprise Party, Clyde doesn't want to touch Cliff and inexplicably claims he's allergic to cats, even though it's pretty obvious he isn't. In Ace Savvy on the Case, Clyde suspects Cliff of tearing a page out of Lucy's notebook, but eliminates him as a suspect upon realising that Cliff is illiterate and the page was cut out with scissors. In the game Pick a Path, Clyde feeds Cliff a fish. Mr. Grouse[]Mr. Grouse seems to get along with the Loud, but he does not interact with Cliff very often. In "Love Birds", Cliff cuts all of the leaves off of Mr. Grouse's philodendron plant to create a beach scene for Walt.
