David Steele is the titular character of a fictional spy franchise in The Loud House. It is one of Lincoln's favorite comic book series next to Ace Savvy. History[]David Steele is a known secret agent. One of his recurring enemies is the evil organization M.A.L.I.C.E. (short for Masterminds Acting Lawlessly In Committing Evil). His other enemies include Golden Toe, Blowfish, Odd Bob, and Paddy Whack. Internal timeline[]In Issue 4, Agent Steele had to reroute a mouse console to override mode before cutting a wire that was either chili powder brown or chicory (Clyde could not tell which one was correct).[1] In Issue 5, Page 7, David Steele found a four-leaf clover.[2] In Issue 7, M.A.L.I.C.E. plotted some kind of destruction (euphemized as "taking out the garbage").[1] In Vol. 2, issue 6, Agent Steele failed to locate a culprit.[3] In Vol. 3, issue 2, Agent Steele attempted to save the ice cream factory, but in the process, he got stuck in a bin of peppermint bubblegum.[3] In Vol. 3, issue 5, Golden Toe snuck into Agent Steele's lair and sabotaged it in an attempt to make him move out.[3] In the holiday issue, M.A.L.I.C.E. took over the North Pole and held Santa Claus for a ransom.[1] Involvement[]The David Steele franchise first appeared in "Family Bonding", where Lincoln Loud and Clyde McBride were playing spies. According to Lola Loud, they both recently got into the series. Upon the arrival of the Miller family, the two of them suspected the new neighbors to be spies, and so investigated them to discover their true colors. With help from their David Steele comics, they came to the conclusion that the Millers worked for a company called the Secret Underground Society of Peach Entrepreneurs Nixing Sour Exports (S.U.S.P.E.N.S.E.) and were plotting to cripple the local economy by destroying all cherries in Michigan in order to make Georgia peaches the most popular fruit on Earth. In the end, their assumptions were revealed to be correct and having thwarted the Millers' plot, they were documented as heroes on a news report from later that day by Katherine Mulligan who stated that the authorities haven't found the Miller family yet. Its next appearance was in "High Crimes", where Lincoln alludes to the comics with the current situation at Sunset Canyon Retirement Home. He and Clyde decide to investigate to find out who is trying to drive the residents out of Sunset Canyon with the help of David Steele gadgets given to them by Lisa Loud. When they spotted somebody messing with the pool drainage controls, they suspected it to be the culprit, but it turned out to actually be Gayle McBride, who was also trying to find the culprit. However, the three of them failed to locate the culprit, and Clyde thought that the mission was a bust. However, they investigated the situation further after hearing Seymour remark that the hot water was no longer working. While trying to inspect the water heater in the basement, Clyde pressed a button on his watch, which caused the David Steele rocket walker to break through the basement door, along with a tank filled with helium. The helium led them to discover that the true culprit had been Vic the whole time. He attempted to escape by riding off on helium balloons, but Lincoln popped them with his David Steele rocket dentures. Scoots then dragged him off to purchase the items needed for the repairs. In "Present Danger", Lincoln had a David Steele-themed birthday party at Gus' Games and Grub. For the party, Lincoln dressed up as Agent Steele, while his friends all dressed up as their favorite M.A.L.I.C.E. villains (with the exception of Rusty, who mistakenly came to the party dressed as Agent Steele). They played Agents and M.A.L.I.C.E. with Liam Hunnicutt playing Golden Toe, Zach Gurdle portraying Blowfish, Clyde portraying Odd Bob, and Stella Zhau portraying Paddy Whack. When they were done, Lincoln trapped the "villains" inside a net, as it was now time for him to open his presents. However, Lincoln noticed that his birthday present from his father and grandfather had been stolen, and he decided to locate the culprit. After seeing the security camera footage with help from Gus Gamesngrub, he came to the conclusion that the thief must either be Flip, Scoots, or Chandler, as they were all non-partygoers. He then gambled their loot in a game of Go Fish, but after winning, it turned out that none of them had stolen his birthday present. Soon afterwards, the thief hacked into an arcade game and alerted Lincoln that he was in possession of his birthday present. Later, after the birthday party was over as Gus needed to prepare for the Fox quintuplets' birthday party, Lincoln received a call from the thief, which Todd traced to the construction site of the Dairyland condos. The call warned him that he was under a twenty-minute time limit, or else he would never retrieve the present. After driving to the thief's location in the Steele Mobile, he chased him throughout the construction site until he found the birthday present inside a portable toilet. However, it turned out to be a fake, and with Lincoln's guard let down, the thief lifted the portable toilet into the air with a crane. This did not deter Lincoln, however, as he utilized his David Steele gadgets to survive , and he ultimately cornered the thief in an office. The thief then revealed his true identity to be Rusty, and he handed over the stolen birthday present. At home, Lincoln opened the present, which turned out to be the very first issue of David Steele. In "Lights, Camera, Nuclear Reaction", Lincoln and Clyde made a fan-made David Steele movie, which featured a robotic M.A.L.I.C.E. agent named Chip Micro (played by Todd) as the villain. Micro wanted to completely annihilate Royal Woods with his nuclear reactor, but his operation was thwarted when Agents Steele (Lincoln) and Alloy (Clyde) exposed all of his holographic clones and retrieved the remote control that could disable the countdown. The next day, while Lincoln, Clyde, and Todd were working on the script for their next project, Lisa revealed that the nuclear reactor from the movie was real, and that it was stolen. Todd later showed them some footage of Flip sneakily appearing on set, and they came to the conclusion that Flip was the culprit. After they cornered the cheapskate, Flip revealed that he was not responsible for the theft of the nuclear reactor because the footage depicted him glitching out, meaning that it was actually a hologram. Lisa then discovered that she had left Todd's "villain mode" turned on, so he could have been the only one responsible for the theft. Lisa then traced the deluded robot's location to an abandoned warehouse on the edge of town, where they drove. However, along the way, Todd took control of the Steele Mobile and caused it to land in a pond at Tall Timbers Park, so they were forced to go on foot. Upon arriving at the warehouse, they discovered that it was being guarded by Lisa's other robots, so they disguised themselves as robots to gain entry. However, their cover was blown when Mr. Reinforced Titanium Alloy Arms heard them whistling, and immediately afterwards, a five-minute countdown to the complete annihilation of Royal Woods began. After they took out the guards, they stumbled upon the nuclear reactor. However, Todd sabotaged their efforts by trapping them inside a net, and he also removed the switch the controls his villain mode, leaving him stuck in it for good. However, Lincoln exploited his ability to play recorded memories, which ultimately drove the robot to turning back into his old self. He freed the three children from the net, and Lincoln shut off the nuclear reactor with the help of his David Steele olive oil shoe nozzles. The episode "Beg, Borrow and Steele" reveals that one of the known merchandises for the David Steele franchise is a mystery box that contains figures of different David Steele figures with David Steele being one of the rare ones.
