[The Louds' Europe road trip takes them from Naples, Italy to the Swiss Alps. They drive their rental bus through the mountains, around sharp turns over cliffs, over extremely steep hills. Finally they bounce and spin into a town where Lynn Sr. stops, and retches with motion sickness. Meanwhile, his daughters, minus Lynn, all get out and puke into a snowbank. Lincoln walks up behind them, really dizzy]
Lincoln: [Groans] "Who knew those Swiss Alps roads could be so twisty?"
[Almost pukes too, finally Lynn walks up, with her snowboard, feeling perfectly fine]
Lynn: "I told you guys before, if you want an iron belly, you need to up that annual meatball sub intake." [Everyone gags at the idea. The other girls casually start walking away from Lynn, who gets excited] "Wow. Can't believe I'm actually here and gonna compete in the snow fury." [Looks at the poster for said competition] "I'm gonna kick butt in every one of those events."
[Suddenly she sees something that takes her breath away, and makes her drop her snowboard and slump her shoulders. She's looking inside the window of a small shop and gasps, inside the shop a really cute guy is cleaning clocks, the boy flips his luscious hair. Lynn's pupils suddenly turn to hearts and she doesn't even notice her still sick brother accidentally stepping onto her snowboard and sliding away. Lincoln slides past the shop where a man's huge angry dog barks at him and gives chase]
Schnitzel's Owner: "Schnitzel! Come back!"
[The boy from the shop exits and chases after the dog. Lincoln slides through an outdoor market and knocks over a crate of bread, the dog still chasing him. Lincoln then bumps into a kid eating triangular chocolate which gets it in Lincoln's mouth. Even though it's a waste of chocolate, Lincoln spits it out and realizes the dog is right at his heels. Meanwhile the boy from the shop is still chasing them and jumps right over the kid with the chocolate, then he leaps up, does some flips on a lightpost and lands right on the dog. At first the dog is angry, but the boy soothes it, meanwhile Lincoln has crashed into another snowbank. The boy rides the dog back to its owner and dismounts with a backflip.]
Schnitzel's Owner: "Danke schön, Henrik!"
[The owner takes his dog away and Henrik waves goodbye, unaware he's being gazed at from afar]
Lynn: [Sighs] "Henrik..."
[Just then, Lynn's two oldest and most romance-loving sisters notice Lynn's sudden aloofness]
Lori: [Waves her hand in Lynn's face] "Lynn? Hello? Are you okay?"
Leni: "What's going on with her?"
[Nudges Lynn's head but Lynn still doesn't notice. Lori gets a closer look]
Lori: "Dazed look..."
Lynn: [Sighs] "Henrik..."
Lori: "Smittened sigh..." [Gasps with anticipation] "Excitedly whispering a boy's name..."
Leni: [Knows those signs too] "OMGosh, I think Lynn has..."
Lori & Leni: [Squeal] "A crush."
[Lynn, who's finally back on Earth, makes a buzzer sound at this suggestion]
Lynn: "Lynn Loud crushes people, she doesn't crush on them." [Suddenly Lynn is on fire, but then she looks again and sees Henrik holding up a clock, and flexing a muscle. Suddenly the flames around her turn into hearts as she dreamily sighs and giggles. Her sisters hit her with knowing looks but Lynn doesn't care] "Okay, maybe just a little one." [Shakes herself back to reality] "But what do I do about it? I'm such a rookie when it comes to this kind of junk."
Lori: "Well first you have to approach Henrik to start a conversation. How would you normally do that?"
Lynn: "I don't know, guess I'd start off with a friendly chest bump."
[Demonstrates on Leni, sending her flying into another snowbank]
Leni: "Totes do not do that."
Lori: "You have to be gentler. It's about creating the perfect meet-cute." [Lynn clearly has no idea what that means, Lori is a little annoyed] "A cute opportunity for you to meet each other. Leni and I could coach you through it."
Leni: "OMGosh, yes! Like crush coaches. We can help you dribble a touchdown right into home base?"
Lynn: "Yeah, not even close. But sure, having your help would be awesome." [Lori and Leni let out excited gasps. Knowing where this is going Lynn covers her ears] "Here it comes."
[Her new crush coaches squeal right behind Lynn's head]

[Later, they are outside the clock shop]
Leni: "Okay, Lynn, all you have to do is pretend you're browsing clocks and wander over in Henrik's direction."
[Lynn enters the store, trying to look casual, Henrik's back is turned and Lynn casually looks at clocks, she looks at Henrik when suddenly a cuckoo pops out startling her. Lynn is about to punch it but Lori and Leni tap the window and shake their nervous heads for Lynn not to, Lynn breathes it out and shuts the clock up. Lynn goes to Henrik and almost says something, when another cuckoo startles her, she gets annoyed. She tries with Henrik again but then a third cuckoo pops up, now Lynn is really annoyed. Henrik, who still doesn't even know he's not alone in the store, goes to the back and Lynn takes a moment to confront the clocks]
Lynn: [Threateningly] "Oh yeah? One more peep and you cuckoos are getting your clocks cleaned."
[Glares at them, no one answers and Lynn is satisfied. Lynn turns around and another cuckoo pops out and escapes before Lynn grabs it. A fifth cuckoo then appears and gets in Lynn's face, blowing raspberries at her. Lynn has had it, she grabs the clock and dropkicks it towards the back of the store, just then Henrik is returning, but gets knocked back by the clock, Lynn gasps. Henrik never saw Lynn, and wanting to keep it that way, Lynn leaves some francs on the counter and skedaddles out of there]

[Later, the town is having a polka, which Henrik is taking part in. Lynn, Lori and Leni pop out from behind a barrel]
Lori: "Okay, let's try this again. All you have to do is casually join in the polka then dance your way over to Henrik so you can talk to him."
[Henrik is currently dancing with an adult lady]
Lynn: [Takes a breath] "Okay, here we go, polka game on."
[Moves in. Lynn first dances with a young girl then switches to an adult woman, she sees Henrik finish with a young woman and head in her direction for his next partner, wanting to be that partner Lynn gets moving towards him. Lynn is about to dance with Henrik, when suddenly an adult man grabs her]
Dancing Man: "No, Fräulein, we polka this way."
[Drags Lynn away]
Lynn: [Groans] "Look, pal, I'm trying to do some meet-cutin' here. Beat it!"
[Takes her arm back, sending the man spinning into another dancer, which leads to a domino topple of polka dancers which ends with Henrick being bumped into a snowbank]
Henrick: "Ich bin, okey dokey."
Lynn: [Realizing what she just did] "Oh, dang it. Strike two."

[Later, Henrik is having fondue and Lynn simply walks up, she grabs a skewer and casually does some stretches. This time Henrik finally notices her]
Lynn: "Oh, hey, just doing some pre-cheese stretches, I like to get limber for limburger." [Keeps stretching, accidentally poking Henrik with her sharp skewer. Henrik goes flying into a pot of warm cheese. Lynn, who can't pretend she's not here this time, shrieks. Henrik takes the pot off his head and Lynn rushes up to help him clean off] "I'm so sorry."
Henrik: "It's just the luck I've been having all day for some strange reason."
[Lynn shakes the cheese off her hands and groans]
Lynn: "Well the strange reason is me. I've been trying to meet-cute you but I just meet-bruise you instead. Strike three, Lynn Loud is out."
[Walks away]
Henrik: "But I didn't get to thank you."
Lynn: "Huh? For what?"
Henrik: "For knocking me into warm cheese, it's thawing me out after you knocked me into that pile of snow." [The two share a laugh, suddenly Henrik yodels out of nowhere. Blushing] "So, yeah, I yodel laugh."
Lynn: "Well, I think it's cool." [They take a quick pause] "Hey, would you wanna, like, I don't know, maybe hang out or something?"
Henrik: "That sounds wunderbar."
[Meanwhile, Leni and Lori are watching from a nearby table]
Leni: "Meet-cute accomplished, cheers to us."
[They clink their glasses together]

[Later, Lynn and Henrik are in the mountains, with alphorns. Henrik plays a sweet tune, Lynn gets excited and tries, blasting a very loud note, so loud that a pile of snow drops on them from a tree. They get out and laugh about it, Henrik yodeling again, which shakes more snow loose. Next, there are two snow people created and nearby Lynn and Henrik are making snow angels. While they do so, their fingers graze each other, briefly, yet slowly. The both notice and blush knowing they both enjoyed it]

[Back in town, Henrik and Lynn are walking]
Henrik: "You are amazing. I've never seen anyone eat an entire apple strudel in one bite. How do you do it?"
Lynn: "It's all about loosening your jaw. I could show you, like, you know, if you wanna hang again tomorrow."
Henrik: "Yeah, that would be great. Though I can't until later, I'm competing in the snow fury during the day."
Lynn: "No stinkin' way! I'm gonna be-" [Suddenly, Henrik notices another guy walking past, the guy casually stops next to Henrik, and they glare angrily at each other, so intense electricity sparks. The guy continues on] "Woah. Who the heck was that?"
Henrik: "Hans, he beat me in the competition last year."
Lynn: "Seems like you've got beef, and not in a tasty double-belcher kind of way."
Henrik: "I swear, I will never have anything to do with that Hans, ever again for as long as I live!" [Henrik has some serious fire in his eyes. He then turns back to a very horrified Lynn] "Sorry, what were you about to say? Something about stinking?"
Lynn: [Who doesn't want Henrik to want nothing to do with her] "Oh, uh, no. I was thinking that…" [Tries to think of something] "I hope you kick butt tomorrow."
Henrik: [Pleased] "Danke schön, that's very kind. Well, see you then."
[Takes off. Lynn knows she could beat her crush in the fury and panics. She then hears all too familiar giggling, she looks and sees Lori and Leni taking selfies while wearing hats that read 'BEST CRUSH COACHES EVER'. They then notice Lynn standing next to them]
Lori: "Hey, Lynn. What do you think of our new 'best crush coaches ever' hats?"
[Hits a button on her hat and they both light up and play music, they dance along but then notice Lynn looking unhappy]
Leni: "You're not dancing with the hats. Is everything okay with Henrik?"
Lynn: "I found out I'm competing against him in the snow fury tomorrow."
Lori: "So?"
Lynn: "Well, so, he just saw the kid who beat him last year and he said he won't have anything to do with him ever again."
Leni: [Oblivious] "Big deal, it just means Henrik doesn't like anyone who beats him."
[Which they both realize is what Lynn is about to do]
Lori & Leni: "Oh."
Lynn: "Bingo. Gah! You guys are my crush coaches, what's my next play?"
Lori: "Oh, this one's a toughy. I call a timeout for a quick coach huddle." [She and Leni huddle] "So if she wins the competition Henrik won't like her anymore."
Leni: "But she's Lynn, she's obvi going to slay it, it's not like she can just suddenly become a different person."
[Lynn, who is revealed to be in the huddle, gasps]
Lynn: "That's it, different person."

[The next day, it's time for the fury. The first event; snowboarding. Lynn is at the top of the mountain next to Henrik, wearing a helmet, large ski goggles and her hair in braided pigtails]
Henrik: [Doesn't recognize her] "Guten tag, my name is Henrik."
Lynn: [German accent] "Hello, I am Helga."
Henrik: "You look kind of familiar, have we ever met before?"
Lynn: [German accent] "No, no, no. I am from far, far, far away. Many miles- uh, kilometers from this place. Well, nice to meet you, Henrik, much of the good luck to yourself."
[An air horn is blown. Henrik takes his jump off down the slope, goes over the ramp and does a single flip in the air landing perfectly, he scores a seven. Then Lynn goes and does a flip, a spin and poses, then has a better landing. She scores a nine. Henrik is upset about this, and Lynn feels bad for him. The next event is luge. Henrik goes first, he slides down the track with a time of twenty seconds. At first he's satisfied but then he sees "Helga", who luges so fast she sets the track on fire, which causes a tidal wave which she surfs down, all in twelve seconds. Henrik is angry again. The final event is figure skating, Henrik spins on the ice and gets a score of ten]
Henrik: [Flips his hair with confidence] "Ha! Beat that."
[Lynn spins on the ice too, so fast she flies up like a helicopter, she jumps up some trees and leaps up, spinning in mid air and lands on the ice so hard she breaks a ring into it. She's given an eleven. Henrik is shocked at the score as the crowd goes to cheer for Lynn. Henrik sees everyone throwing Helga and her trophy over their shoulders]
Crowd: "Helga! Helga! Helga! Helga! Helga! Helga! Helga! Helga! Helga! Helga!"
[Meanwhile Henrik angrily throws his skates into the water and leaves, Lynn feels really sorry for him]

[Later that day, Henrik and Lynn are sitting on a log by the lake drinking hot cocoa]
Henrik: "I'm sorry the snow fury took up the whole day, I wanted us to hang out more before you leave tomorrow."
Lynn: [Disappointed] "Uh, me too. It's been awesome getting to know you, and junk." [Holds up her mug] "Here's to our last date." [They clink their mugs together and drink. Then Lynn gets out a belch so loud it cracks the ice] "Aw yeah, that one had hints of cocoa with apple strudel notes." [Realizes] "Oh. Sorry, too gross?"
Henrik: [Yodel laughs] "No way, that's what I like about you, Lynn. You're always yourself, you never try to be somebody you're not, and I respect you so much for that."
[Lynn realizes she was betraying very thing Henrik likes most about her the whole day]
Lynn: [Sighs] "Maybe you shouldn't."
[Gets up and puts her disguise back on]
Henrik: [Gasps] "You're Helga?" [Lynn chuckles and shrugs, then takes the goggles off] "But, why did you do this?"
Lynn: "So you wouldn't be mad at me if I beat you in the fury, then not wanna have anything to do with me, like Hans."
Henrik: "That wasn't about him beating me."
Lynn: [Surprised] "It wasn't?"
Henrik: "Nein, the reason I don't like Hans is because he's a total monster, as little kids he was always leaving spiders in my lederhosen. How many times did I polka like this..."
[Dances like he has a spider in his lederhosen, Jumping around screaming while grasping his butt, Lynn laugh at this]
Lynn: "Okay, but you definitely looked mad every time I won an event."
Henrik: "I was mad, at myself, I knew I could do better." [Realizes something] "Hey, now there's another thing for me to like about you, you challenge me to be a better athlete."
[Lynn giggles, blushing]
Lynn: "So, does that mean we can stay in touch after I leave?"
Henrik: "You bet your bratwurst."
[They chest bump each other and get thrown backwards. Henrik is lying in the snow and Lynn slides herself next to him. They laugh and make snow angels again. They let their fingers touch again and this time they hold each other's hand and gaze at each other. Meanwhile Lynn's crush coaches are spying on them from the top of the mountain]
Lori and Leni: "Best crush coaches ever!"
[They high five and squeal, which causes snow to land on them, but they still laugh]
