Episode Information

"Fashion No Show" is the forty-sixth episode of the sixth season, and the two-hundred-ninety-second episode of The Loud House.

Plot[]

Leni and Carlota's working styles clash when they are both interning for a famous fashion designer, Mariella Moss.

Synopsis[]

Carlota is taking part in an internship for a renowned fashion designer named Mariella Moss. Mariella is so impressed with Carlota's work, that she decides to put her in charge of her show for fashion week. Mariella says that the event will be big, so she suggests to Carlota that she hire another person to help her out. Carlota knows exactly who to call: Leni Loud. Leni immediately accepts the role, and upon hanging up so she could arrive on time, Carl expresses his belief that Leni, who he considers more stylish than his sister, will eventually replace Carlota. However, Carlota assures that she'll be fine.

The next day, Carlota shows Leni around Mariella's studio, who is amazed with all the fashion accessories she sees. After taking in the sights, Carlota tasks Leni with mailing out the invites and advises her to be "fast on her feet". Later, while Carlota and Mariella observe a dress on a mannequin that feels like it's missing something, Leni suddenly comes careening in on roller skates (apparently having taken Carlota's words literally). At that moment, Leni crashes into the dress, one of her skates landing on top of the mannequin's head. To Carlota's surprise, Mariella is impressed with this new addition, and thanks Leni for the "improvement". Later, as Carlota shows Mariella what they'll be serving: Bruno's mini hot dogs. Mariella explains that she loves this food choice, but laments that it's also messy. Leni states that she read in her Sixteen 1/2 Magazine that the best way to remove stains like that is with sparkling water, making Mariella decide to serve sparkling water on the side, and once again thanks Leni for her help. Later, as Carlota is making suggestions on what to do for the show's big finale, Leni suddenly arrives on Bitsy the elephant (once again taking Carlota's words literally), and once again, Mariella loves the suggestion.

At the apartment, as Carlota laments that Mariella is listening to Leni more than her, Carl suggests that she get Leni out of the picture by sending her on a long errand, so that way, she'll be distracted long enough for Mariella to pay attention to her again. Carlota once again assures that she's still essential to organizing the show, but at that moment, Carlota gets a call from Mariella, who thanks her for bringing in Leni, and tells her that she's putting her in charge of the show now. Furious about getting replaced, Carlota sinisterly demands to know the long errand Carl has in mind.

Back at Mariella's studio, as Leni pushes around large pieces of furniture in the runway room (saying that it can hold more people than just chairs), Carlota tells Leni that, now that she's in charge, she has been tasked with obtaining valuable accessories from a faraway address. After sending Leni on her way, Mariella arrives, and when she asks where Leni is, Carlota tells her that she's really busy at the moment, prompting Mariella to put Carlota back in charge. However, while organizing the show, Carlota tasks Carl and Sergio with the tasks, and they end up fumbling their assignments, like cutting up the fabrics into an El Falcon-inspired outfit, getting into a food fight, and messing around with the DJ booth (which results in the models quitting). With all these setbacks, Carlota realizes that she was wrong to get rid of Leni, and desperately tries to call her, but to no avail. As the address Leni was given is nonexistent, the only way Carlota, Carl, and Sergio are able to find her is by driving all over Great Lakes City. After some time, the three manage to find Leni, and Carlota confesses that she set her up out of jealousy. Thinking they won't be able to save the show in time, Carlota decides to admit full responsibility, but Leni, despite acknowledging what Carlota did was wrong, says that they still got 20 minutes left, and is willing to help because she's her friend. When Carl states that they need food, beverages, music, clothes, and models, Leni says that she knows how to get all of those in time.

S6E25A Fashion show success

Thanks to Leni's quick thinking, the fashion show is a huge success!

That night, the show is commencing, and filling in for the models are the Casagrandes (and Vito). The show ends up being a huge success, and when Carlota tells Mariella that it was all a team effort between her and Leni, Mariella decides to hire both of them to work for her.
