"Mystery of the Hallway Gunk" is the fourth episode of The Casagrandes Familia Sounds. Plot[]Ronnie Anne and her skater pals discover that a prankster has coated the school hallway with a mysterious gunk that's wreaking havoc on the school, and now they must figure out who did it! Synopsis[]Ronnie Anne starts her fourth podcast, with Sid accompanying her, Sid having downloaded a sound effects app. The podcast takes place at their school with Ronnie Anne intending to introduce the coolest people alive. Sid initially thinks she means Twelve is Midnight but Ronnie Anne explains that she means their friends. Just then, Casey rolls up, upon hearing that he’s on Ronnie Anne’s podcast he gives a shout-out to his mom. Sameer rolls up next but suddenly his board gets stuck to the floor sending him flying into the lockers, he’s alright. At first, they suspect ghosts but then Ronnie Anne notices a mysterious sticky gunk on the floor. Just then Laird rolls up, Ronnie Anne tries to warn him about the gunk but Laird goes flying anyway. Laird is perfectly fine, having been through way worse accidents before. Just then, Nikki arrives to see what everyone’s up to. Upon hearing about the gunk she has three questions, the first being if they know who did it, the second being if her friends are okay, and the third being if anyone had recorded the crashes which she knows is not cool to ask but everyone agrees that they would have wanted to watch too, even Sameer. The gang starts spitting off theories about who dumped the gunk in the hall. Sid suggests an angry goat getting revenge for not being allowed to attend the school, but Ronnie Anne can tell Sid just wanted to play goat sounds on her app. Nikki suspects a vengeful janitor, Sameer wonders if it was a teacher, Ronnie Anne suggests Coach Crawford who was always upset when they skated in school. Casey feels as if the prankster was a student, the gang asks if he did it, Casey insinuates that he might have, but then confirms that he didn’t. Nikki wonders if there’s any way to figure out who did it. Ronnie Anne figures they just have to find out more about the gunk, the gang gets a closer look and finds that it has a purplish colour and smells like sugar. They wonder if it tastes like sugar and Laird gets an idea of how to find out. Slowly Laird sticks his tongue out and gets closer, the gang is revolted by the thought that Laird might lick the gunk, except Nikki who kind of wants to see it. Laird actually does it but finds himself stuck. The gang manages to rip him free and Laird notes that the gunk tasted like grape. Casey notices that the gunk leads up the lockers. They follow the trail and Ronnie Anne is shocked to find the gunk is coming from her locker. Ronnie Anne insists that it wasn’t her and Nikki tells her to open her locker. Upon opening it they find the headphones Sameer lent her the previous day and a tipped-over cup. Ronnie Anne suddenly remembers that she was drinking a grape slushy when Sameer lent her his headphones, she figures it must have spilled when she closed her locker. Sid is relieved that Ronnie Anne didn’t do this on purpose. The gang points out that she should still clean it up before someone else gets hurt and Ronnie Anne gets detention. Ronnie Anne agrees that she should clean it up and her friends offer to help. Suddenly they find that Laird put his tongue in the gunk again, just because he likes grape flavour. Just then the school bell goes off, the gang realizes they have to hurry and get Laird out and clean the mess before class starts. Cast[]
