"Great Lakes City Tour" is the third episode of The Casagrandes Familia Sounds. Plot[]Ronnie Anne tries to take listeners to her favorite spots in Great Lakes City, but Carl and the noisy city keep getting in the way. Synopsis[]Ronnie Anne is on the stoop of the building ready to start her third podcast. Carl is accompanying her, under orders from Rosa to Ronnie Anne. Carl is very excited to show off his new DJ keyboard. Maria walks by on her way to the hospital and sees they’re working on the podcast. When Ronnie Anne tells her that they were going to be visiting her favourite places in the city Maria instantly has guesses on where they would be going, even though Ronnie Anne wants it to be a surprise. The first place they go is the mercado intending to see Hector and Bobby. To their surprise, Maybelle is watching the place. Ronnie Anne introduces Maybelle to the listeners, Maybelle thinks they’re talking to ghosts but Ronnie Anne explains that they’re doing a podcast. Just then, Par arrives. Just as they are about to interview him they are overwhelmed by the sound of fanfare. They go to see and find that Vito and his dogs are running a wiener dog parade. Because the parade is too loud, they decide to do the podcast somewhere else. They go to Bruno’s hotdog cart. Ronnie Anne orders two Great Lakes City specials. Before they can interview Bruno, a jackhammer makes too much noise. They consider going to Margarita’s salon, only to find the garbage truck’s engine broke down right outside. Then the wiener dog parade returns. Ronnie Anne decides to go to another part of the city. Carl wants to take the subway. They arrive at the train station, which is Carl’s favourite place in the city. As Carl talks about trains, Ronnie Anne starts messing around with Carl’s keyboard, the keys get stuck and they have to take the batteries out. They accidentally miss their intended stop and wind up in a creepy abandoned station. Suddenly they are surrounded by a swarm of rats. Carl reveals that he put the batteries back in his keyboard, Ronnie Anne is annoyed at first but then realizes that the rats don’t like it either, so she manages to clear a path for her and Carl to escape. As they exit the subway tunnel, a van pulls up, it’s Par, and he offers them a ride home. Suddenly the wiener dog parade returns. Ronnie Anne decides to let Carl play his keyboard as they end the podcast. Cast[]
