The Hi 'n' Buy is a supermarket in Great Lakes City.

Appearances

It first appeared in "Store Wars with the Casagrandes", in which it opened up. This caused financial problems for the Casagrande Market as people who ordinarily shopped there started to shop at Hi 'n' Buy instead. To combat this issue, the Casagrande/Santiago family tried to make shopping at the bodega more pleasant for the customers -- CJ helped them reach items, Rosa gave free samples, Hector acted as a checkout machine, Carl and Bobby made deliveries, Frida took photos and gave them to the customers as gifts, Carlota set up a babysitting booth, Maria set up a peeling station, Carlos entertained the customers with trivia, and Ronnie Anne pushed a trolley. However, upon learning that the Hi 'n' Buy stayed open at nighttime, the family tried to keep the mercado open all night too, which led to everyone losing sleep. The customers left when the family's sleep deprivation hindered their ability to work, but eventually, the Casagrande Market stayed open due to its regulars knowing the Casagrandes well.

In "Walk Don't Run", Margarita's dog Fluffy steals some meat from the Hi 'n' Buy, forcing Ronnie Anne and Sid, who were looking after her, to pay.

In "Guess Who's Shopping for Dinner?", Ronnie Anne buys some ingredients from the Hi 'n' Buy despite being asked to get very specific ingredients for Rosa. After feeling guilty, she confesses to Rosa and they go to buy the ingredients she asked for together.

In "A Very Casagrandes Christmas", Arturo tries to shop at the Hi 'n' Buy for Christmas food, but gets locked in the store after closing time. He then gets snowed in, so his family and their neighbors have to save him.
