When Darcy's birthday party falls on the same day as one of Lisa's hero scientist's talks, Lisa sends TODD in her place to the party.
Synopsis[]
At the elementary school, Lisa is testing her latest invention, gelatinous salve, on her classmate, Petey Wimple, to see if it can protect him from oncoming dodgeballs. Suddenly, her best friend, Darcy Helmandollar, arrives and tells her that her birthday is coming this Saturday, and she wants to invite her, since she's her bestie. Unable to turn down the offer, Lisa graciously accepts her invitation.

Hours later, Lisa arrives home and tells Todd to schedule Darcy's birthday on her calendar. However, Todd reveals that there's another event happening at the same time as the party: a ceremony at the Royal Woods Medical Center honoring a gastroenterologist Lisa looks up to named Dr. Julius Brown. Having been looking forward to this event for months, Lisa quickly tries to find a look she could go in, only to be reminded by Todd of Darcy's birthday. Not wanting to hurt her bestie's feelings, Lisa, after seeing Todd with her wig and glasses, gets the idea that Todd take her place at the party while she goes to see Dr. Brown. At first, Todd is skeptical about the plan, due to their differences, but Lisa quickly fixes that up by remodeling Todd into being her size, downloading a program to change his voice into hers, and installing cameras in his eyes to monitor his vision. However, the only downside to Todd's disguise is that he can't make too much movement, as it will fall off.
On Saturday, Darcy's birthday is being held at Tall Timbers Park. Todd arrives to the party, disguised as Lisa, and Darcy is immediately fooled by his disguise. Following afterwards, Todd begins to partake in the numerous party activities like breaking the piñata, dancing on the dance floor and eating the cake. Despite some close calls, like Todd swinging at the piñata with tremendous force, making the kids do a motionless "dance" and pretending to eat the cake, he manages to avert suspicion. Meanwhile, Lisa, after getting herself ready, arrives to the Royal Woods Medical Center, ready to meet Dr. Brown. Unfortunately, it's at this time that Flip (using the alias Ulysses) arrives to the party with a mechanical unicorn Darcy had rented. Overhearing this, Lisa warns Todd to avoid riding on it at all costs, as it will guarantee that his disguise will fall off. However, Darcy reveals that she wants to ride the unicorn with "Lisa" by her side. With no time to give him suggestions, Lisa tells Todd to figure out how to stop the unicorn himself.
Soon, Todd tries whatever he can to stop the unicorn from working. First, he throws the punch bowl at it, hoping to short it out, but only succeeds in making it shake more violently. Second, he pops a hole in the inflatable cushion while playing pin the tail on the donkey, but Flip patches it up with a band-aid. Lastly, he tries to cut the cord powering the ride, but couldn't do it without Darcy getting suspicious. Unfortunately, Todd is unable to stop the machine in time before it's his and Darcy's turn to ride. Before they jump on, Darcy tells "Lisa" that it means so much to her that "she" is riding with her, as she truly values "her" as her bestest friend. Touched by this, a now remorseful Lisa realizes that she put her own values over her friend's, and decides to skip out on meeting Dr. Brown in order to head over to Tall Timbers Park.

At the park, just as Darcy and Todd are about to board the ride, Lisa arrives and proceeds to eject Todd so she can swoop in and take his place just in time for the ride to start. Later, as the sun is about to set, Darcy thanks Lisa for coming to her party, and Lisa, after saying that it's what friends do, asks her if she would like to ride the unicorn again, to which Darcy happily accepts.
As of this episode, Darcy is now 5 years old and noticeably much taller than before.
This is the second episode to be focused on Darcy, the first being the Season 2 episode "Friend or Faux?", which was also her debut episode.
This episode seems to suggest that Todd's name is actually an acronym, as the official premise writes his name in all caps, and that the name of Lisa's system to monitor his vision is called "T.O.D.D. Vision".
Because the Skater Dudes font does not distinguish capitalization, Todd's name is written larger than the rest of the text in the episode's title. Additionally, this is the first episode with Todd's name in the title.
This episode reveals yet another one of Flip's side ventures. This time, he has a business called Ulysses' Unicorns and Unitards, where he lets people rent out a unicorn-themed kiddie ride and sells unitards.
