Kotaro is a recurring character in The Loud House, who first appeared in the episode "Vantastic Voyage".

Biography[]

He first appears as a member of the Royal Woods Mini Van Society, being one of Lynn Sr.'s acquaintances and his best friend. Not much is known about him.

He reappears in "Friend or Faux?", where he is playing a keyboard with Lynn Sr. in the Louds' garage.

He appears again in "Anti-Social", showing great enthusiasm about their band's first show in his cousin's basement.

In "Fool Me Twice", he can be seen sitting with Lynn Sr.'s stunt double when he answers a trivia question incorrectly.

In "Friendzy", he comes over to the Loud house at the end of the episode.

In "Breaking Dad", he and Lynn Sr. head off to Cowbella.

In "Cooked!", Lynn Sr. hires him to work at his restaurant Lynn's Table.

In "Recipe for Disaster", Lincoln and Clyde interrogate him at the ATM machine as to where he got the money and explains that he got the money after his great-aunt passed away to which Lucy confirms.

In "Present Tense", he gives Lynn Sr. an actual Beef-eater from England to the point where he had used all his airline points to fly it to him Royal Woods.

In "Can't Hardly Wait", he shows Lori how deliver food to tables.

In "House Flip", he is seen in his car riding with Lynn Sr.

In "Coupe Dreams", he is one of Lori's customers.

In "Dad Reputation", he is part of a band called the The Doo Dads alongside Lynn Sr., Harold McBride, and Rodney Spokes.

In The Loud House Movie, he's seen in a flashback washing windows.

In "The Taunting Hour", he was at Lynn's Table with Lynn Sr. And Bud Grouse.

In "Force of Habits", he shoves an emotional Lynn Sr. away to let Lori, Leni and Luna enjoy their meal

In "A Dish Come True", when Lincoln decides to work at Lynn's Table in order to get a dish named after him, Kotaro and Grant become very suspicious. When a few of Lincoln's sisters, Luna, Luan, Lynn and Lana started working at the restaurant for the same reason, This put Kotaro and Grant's chances of being employee of the month at risk. Later on, Lynn Sr. leaves Kotaro and Grant in charge of the Loud kids while he steps out of the restaurant to pick up an order. Things get out of hand when the Loud kids begin competing against each other and start a food fight which scares off the customers. As Kotaro and Grant attempt to break up the kids' fight, Lynn Sr. returns and finds the restaurant a disaster. He wrongfully accuses his employees for making a big mess and decides not to reward them. The Loud kids confess to their father that Grant and Kotaro were only trying to break up their fight.

Personality[]

Upon his introduction, Kotaro was depicted as very prideful and fond of his van. He also was shown to be somewhat dismissive of Lynn Sr.'s family's comments about his obsession over the new van. As of his next major appearance, he has humbled down and become more accustomed to Lynn Sr.'s family. He is also shown to be fond of playing the cowbell just like Lynn Sr.

Overall, Kotaro is goodhearted and friendly to those around him. However, he is easily stressed out when things go bad.

Appearance[]

He is a tall man with black hair and black eyebrows. He wears a blue jacket with a white collared shirt underneath, gray jeans, a black belt with a silver buckle, and black boots.

As of "Breaking Dad", Kotaro's hair becomes less smooth and his chin more pointed.
