This page describes all of Luna Loud's relationships with her family and friends.

Family

Her siblings

Generally

S1E17A The gang forgiving Luna

Luna laughing with her siblings.

Luna gets along well with her siblings. She's always singing songs for them to make them feel better when they're sad, but the worst part of this is that she can sometimes play her music too loudly, and the mere odd inconsiderate moments, like in "Changing the Baby", where she almost stage dives onto Lily, or in "No Guts, No Glori", where she plugs her guitar into numerous amps, and sends Lincoln flying against the wall, causing it to crack. As a big sister, she is protective with her younger siblings, and will help them whenever she can.

In "House Music", Luna suggested making a family band for a fair contest. All her siblings agreed and were happy when their dad joined. However Luna's lust of fame lead her to train her siblings very strictly, much to their annoyance. After she expelled her father from the band, all her siblings were disappointed and expelled Luna for her bossy behavior. When she realized she was a jerk and apologized to her siblings, they all forgave her.

In "L is for Love", all her siblings accompanied Luna as moral support in meeting her love interest, Sam. However, Luna was too insecure to approach Sam. After hearing her parents' story of how they met, she felt inspired to express her feelings towards Sam, and encourages her siblings to do the same. In subsequent episodes and media, it is confirmed that Luna's siblings are aware that Sam is a girl, and they showed acceptance on Luna's love interest being a girl, showcasing how much Luna's siblings care for her.

In Welcome to the Loud House, all her siblings except Lori dance to her music.

Lincoln

S2E20A 🎶Thank you baby bro for helping me🎶

Luna singing thank you to Lincoln.

Luna and Lincoln have a stable and genial relationship. They both help each other, and usually spend time together for fun. Usually, Luna sings songs to him to encourage him whenever he's putting a plan into action.

However, she is not above getting angry with Lincoln, or having inconsiderate, and/or ballistic moments with him, such as in "The Sweet Spot", where she attacks him in order to get the best seat in Vanzilla, or in "Sleuth or Consequences", where she accuses Lincoln of clogging the toilet without any proof, and later, like the other sisters, is smug towards him about the Princess Pony reveal. In "It's a Loud, Loud, Loud, Loud, House", she brutally kicked him out her room (along with Lynn and Lola in their respective rooms) by using powerful sound speakers, because she didn't want him to interrupt her in search for hidden money. Then later, she and the others sisters barged into Lincoln's room because they think he has the money. Also, after searching the whole house Luna thinks that Lincoln missed something in the letter, and she, and the others viciously assaulted him, but they all made up at the end of the episode. Despite all of this though, their relationship is steady.

In Making the Case, she asks him if humiliating them was worth it. Later she plays guitar to drown him out. But she later stops pretending to disown him after he decides to make it right.

Sometimes, she asks him to help her fix her guitar strings, as mentioned in "Sound of Silence".

In "Hand-Me-Downer", she gave Lincoln her old, but broken guitar.

In "For Bros About to Rock", she wanted to make his first concert very unforgettable. However, he brutally admitted he doesn't want her to ruin his first concert, as she already did to Lori, Lana, Lola, and Lisa. She felt hurt, but realized he's correct about her. After Lincoln was arrested for attempted illegal purchasing of concert tickets, Luna disguised herself as their mom to get him out, so he and Clyde could go to the concert. It worked, until Bobby inadvertently blew her cover and then gets locked up as well. She then shares her memory of her first concert, which convinces the Mall Cop Captain to let them attend the concert. At the end, they all enjoyed the concert together.

In "Cover Girls", Lincoln dresses up as Luna at one point.

In "Roughin' It", it's revealed that she taught him how to knit.

In "The Loudest Yard", Luna was so excited about Lincoln becoming a football star, she volunteered to play the national anthem on her brother's big match.

In A Tale of Two Tables, she says singing isn’t allowed. Later in a nightmare she tells him there is no turning back. Later he steals her roll.

In Lincoln Loud: Girl Guru, she laughs at his answer.

In "Dance, Dance Resolution", Luna got a date for Lincoln for the Sadie Hawkins Dance, because he was "sad", but then she, along with Luan, Lynn, and Lucy, were angry with him because he lied to all of them.

In "Kick the Bucket List", Lincoln was playing a one-man band instrument. Luna saw this and offered to join him, and was disappointed when he refused.

In Brawl in the Family, she gets mad at Lincoln.

In "Garage Banned", Luna accidentally damaged Luan's puppet Mr. Coconuts. When Lincoln told Luna to pay for damages, she threatened him with her fist.

InRoom with a Feud, she gets mad at his plan, later she tells him she was flattered when he decided to sacrifice his happiness.

In "Future Tense", when Lincoln was reading a comic and Luna was playing on guitar, they were sitting next to each other.

In "Yes Man", Luna was the first sister to ask Lincoln for teaching her how to convince their parents to give her money. She agreed to lend him her guitar when he was trying to convince them himself. After he failed and missed the SMOOCH concert, Luna organized her own concert with her sisters to return the favor to Lincoln.

In "Not a Loud", Lincoln asks Luna some details about the day he was born.

In "Tripped!", Luna and Lincoln can be seen playing together.

In "White Hare", Luna tells Lincoln that he is "rocking."

In "Insta-gran", after Myrtle trimmed Lincoln's hair into a bowl cut, Luna gave him a ski mask to cover up his embarrassing new hairdo. Later, she complimented him after he edited a photo to make it seem as if Myrtle and Seymour were kissing each other.

In "The Loudest Thanksgiving", Lincoln gives a thumbs-up to Luna and she dims the lights on her laptop.

In "Snoop's On", Luna finds out that Lincoln, along with Leni and, later, Luan, have been reading her diary, believing that she was hiding a big secret. In order to get them to confess, Luna decides to write fake stories in her diary about skipping school to see a movie, getting a tattoo, sneaking out to go to an underground club, and planning a night of mayhem in Royal Woods. When the siblings find Luna about to remove the "R" from the Royal Woods Town Hall, they confess that they were reading her diary, and she becomes furious. The siblings say they only did it because they were worried about Luna becoming a bad influence. Luna then laughs and tells them she knew about them reading her diary and made up the stories to get them to confess. Luna also reveals that Roxy, the girl who she had written about in her stories and was seen with her that night, was actually Sam in disguise. The siblings apologize for reading Luna's diary, and she apologizes for putting them through all that trouble.

Lori

S3E24B Embrace Sam's interests and you might actually enjoy them

Lori giving Luna advice.

Luna and Lori don't have much interactions, but Luna really detests when Lori breaks her music practicing as shown in "No Guts, No Glori". However, Luna plays to make all work faster when Lori asks her to do so.

In "A Tale of Two Tables", they both sat at the grownup table.

In "For Bros About to Rock", it is revealed that Luna ruined Lori's first Boyz Will Be Boyz concert.

In "Brawl in the Family", she believes that Lori has the right to be mad at Leni.

In "Party Down", she made fun of one of Lori’s rules and although Luna was invited and eventually kicked out of Lori's sophisticated party, Luna was singing Lori's favorite song from Boyz Will Be Boyz, and invited Lori to sing along with her, when Lori came to join the upstairs party. Even though Lori felt she couldn't, she ended up joining Luna, and they both sang together.

In "Driving Ambition", while practicing for an important golf match, Luna helps her with how to keep her hands shaking by telling her she had the same problem, but told herself to recite a mantra so she can concentrate, and managed to perform without any setbacks. Lori eventually creates her own mantra to concentrate.

In "Racing Hearts", Lori was very excited when Luna told her and Leni she would be partners with Sam at the Royal Woods Astonishing Quest. Later on when Luna expresses how they both don't have much in common, Lori reassures her that she went through the same thing with Bobby when they first started dating and advises her to embrace Sam's interests so she can understand her better. When it was all over, she gives Luna a thumbs up as she watches the two embrace each other.

In "Deep Cuts" Luna with Lori and Luan protested together against closing their hobby clubs. Before the cooperation, they argued and accused each other for causing closing their hobby clubs.

In Welcome to the Loud House, Lori is Luna's only sibling not to like her music. Luna also takes selfies with Lori's phone.

Leni

S1E17A Ok got it

Luna showing Leni what to sing.

The two of them don't interact with each other much, but in "Along Came a Sister", it is shown that she does enjoy listening to her music and dances while she and Lily used pots and pans as drums, although it was actually a diversion to keep Leni from noticing Frances.

In "A Tale of Two Tables", they both sat at the grownup table.

In "Hand-Me-Downer", is revealed that Leni gave her bike to Luna as a hand-me-down.

In "House Music", Luna lets Leni sing backup, but the latter is unable to, due to not understanding her role.

In "Come Sale Away", Luna corrects Leni, because she thought that a welcome mat was Lily's blanket.

In "L is for Love", Leni was the first to ask Luna why she wasn't cheering over the fact that she was still in the running of the secret admirer mystery.

In "No Laughing Matter", Leni accidentally burns Luna by flushing the toilet after Luan does not make a joke.

In "No Spoilers", the last flashback shows that Leni ruined Luna's surprise party.

In "Really Loud Music", Leni mistakes Luna for Lola when Michelle and Doug gave her a makeover.

In "Racing Hearts", Leni was very excited when Luna told her and Lori she would be partners with Sam at the Royal Woods Astonishing Quest. By the end of the quest, she was very happy to see them hugging one another.

In "Snoop's On", Luna finds out that Leni, along with Lincoln and, later, Luan, have been reading her diary, believing that she was hiding a big secret.

In Welcome to the Loud House, Luna hates Leni's driving outfit. Leni also doesn't know how to play Luna's guitar.

Luan

King of the Chair panorama

Luna and Luan fighting for remote.

Because Luna has to share a room with Luan, they appear to be on good terms. Like all of her siblings, she gets annoyed by Luan's unfunny jokes. Sometimes Luna helps her by being the "band show", or bringing mood music every time Luan is practicing her stand-up comedy puns, like in "Overnight Success".

In "A Tale of Two Tables", they both sat at the grownup table.

In "Hand-Me-Downer", it's explained that Luna handed the bike down to Luan.

In "Sleuth or Consequences", they were fighting for the TV remote control.

In "It's a Loud, Loud, Loud, Loud, House", they worked together to find the money. Luna shoved Luan in the furnace in the basement when she heard Lincoln come down, telling her to hide. When Lincoln questions Luna about what she was doing, she makes an excuse to have been practicing her drums. Then, even knowing Luan was still in there, she bangs on the furnace. Lincoln leaves the basement. Luan comes out of the furnace, completely dazed from the noise Luna made, asks if someone can answer the ringing in her head, then immediately faints.

In "House Music", Luna growled in annoyance at Luan when she played her whoopee cushion when Luna was picking up her guitar to make it look like Luna farted. This happened twice.

In "One Flu Over the Loud House", Luan accidentally gives Luna the flu by coughing and sneezing on her.

In "Brawl in the Family", they were the second sisters to get into a fight.

In "Fed Up", Luna said she "got some jams" and Luan asks her where. She then realized Luna meant by playing her guitar.

In "Garage Banned", Luan complains to Luna about her fog machines ruining Mr. Coconuts' face. This leads to them having a small argument, tempting both roommates to threaten Lincoln, who was literally in the middle of them.

In "Health Kicked", they worked together to sabotage their parents into thinking they exercise a lot.

In "No Laughing Matter", when bugging Lori and Leni while they're in the bathroom, at the punchline of a joke, she flushed the toilet, messing with the water when Luna was in the shower, making her furious. After the siblings wanted to get Luan back into comedy, Luna was acting like she needed a reason to make a rimshot, trying to get her roommate to crack a joke, Luan responds with, "Good luck with that" then left. In another scene, Luan asked Luna if she was gonna be out of the bathroom soon and Luna started cracking up when the siblings decided to laugh at whatever Luan says. This made her very angry.

In "No Place Like Homeschool", when Luan says that they can get a fresh start, Luna says, "Good call, brah!" and they smile at each other.

In "Fool Me Twice", at the end, Luna, while acting, tells Luan that it's too late after she pranked them to do anything, and Luan tries to tell her that it isn't.

In ""Pipe Dreams", Luan was angry with Luna and Lynn Sr., because they played music in the middle of the night.

In "Washed Up", Luna and Luan were supposed to work together to make a distress signal on deserted island. Luna frowned on Luan for not helping her and building a dummy instead.

In "A Pimple Plan", Luna is the only sibling who shakes her head when Luan asks everybody to help get rid of her pimple.

In "Deep Cuts" Luna with Luan and Lori protested together against closing their hobby clubs. Before the cooperation, they argued and accused each other for causing closing their hobby clubs.

In "Room and Hoard", Luna and Luan did a puppet show together to make their parents know that they still use their old stuff.

In "A Dark and Story Night" during playing a story telling game, Luna chooses Luan as next to tell what happens next. Luna corrects Luan about what her character wouldn't say, but Luan said that it's her turn, so no interruptions.

In "Snoop's On", Luna finds out that Luan, along with Leni and Lincoln, have been reading her diary, believing that she was hiding a big secret.

In the comic "Sam's Pick", it is confirmed that Luan, along with her siblings, are aware that Luna is bisexual and that her crush Sam Sharp is a girl, showing that, no matter Luna's sexual orientation, Luan will always care for her.

In Luna's episode of Listen Out Loud, Luna finds Luan's puns annoying and so gets rid of the soundproof walls. Luna also accidentally keeps Luan awake with her sleep-talking. In Lynn's episode, Luan pranks Luna by putting custard in her boots, causing them to argue.

Lynn

Lana

S2E14B We make a great team!

These two do not interact very much, but it is shown that while they have been shown to work together with their siblings, they seem to have a little conflict every now and then.

In "In Tents Debate", they worked together to sabotage the "Beach team".

In "For Bros About to Rock", Lana, along with her other sisters, warns Lincoln not to let Luna find out about going to his first SMOOCH concert, as she'll come along and ruin the experience, just as she did when she went with her and Lola to see Blarney the Dinosaur, where she tried to crowd surf on small children, only to crush them, including her twins, under her.

In "It's a Loud, Loud, Loud, Loud, House" Lana asks Luna for some digging music while she digs for the money.

In "Cereal Offender", Luna was carrying Lana on her back, while they were playing in a cereal food fight with the rest of their siblings.

In "A Dark and Story Night" during playing a story telling game, Lana chooses Luna as next to tell what happens next.

Lola

S2E12B Don't you quit now

Lola ordering Luna not to give up.

These two do not interact very much, but it is shown that while they have been shown to work together with their siblings, they seem to have a little conflict every now and then.

In "For Bros About to Rock", Lola, along with her other sisters, warns Lincoln not to let Luna find out about going to his first SMOOCH concert, as she'll come along and ruin the experience, just as she did when she went with her and Lana to see Blarney the Dinosaur, where she tried to crowd surf on small children, only to crush them, including the twins, under her.

In "Cover Girls", Lola dresses up like Luna at one point.

In "Come Sale Away", during the competition to see who can get Lily's blanket back first, they confront a lady who bought a malfunctioning vacuum cleaner at the sale, and try to blame the other for selling it to her.

Lisa

S3E03A Wish me luck, Lola is next

In "Room with a Feud", they are paired as roommates based on Lincoln's compatibility test. They get along well until Luna plays a note above a D6, causing them to get into an argument.

In "Roadie to Nowhere", Lisa gives Luna some advice about her future.

In "The Mad Scientist", Luna is saddened and worried when Lisa informs the family of her plans to move permanently into the science institute, so far away from the family. She even feels hurt as Lisa reveals the pie chart prioritizing science over her own family, dubbing the younger sister as being "cold as ice".

In "House of Lies", Luna tells Lisa that she cannot force their family to tell the truth all the time, but Lisa disagrees with Luna's statement.

In Last Loud on Earth, she tells her the password is her birthday.

In "Really Loud Music" Lisa gives Luna some advice when Luna keeps hearing songs.

Lily

S2E06B Don't look Lily

Luna covering Lily's eyes.

Luna has a nice relationship with her baby sister, and Lily seems to enjoy being with her. Out of all their siblings and (presumably) after their parents, Luna seems to be Lily's primary caregiver, and is also the one who normally carries Lily when they, and the rest of their siblings are on the move.

Parents

Generally

Friends

Clyde McBride

S1E09A Luna performs a solo

In "Overnight Success", it is shown that he enjoys listening to her playing rock music.

In "For Bros About to Rock", she teaches him, along with Lincoln, how to have a great first concert experience.

Mick Swagger

S1E13A Mick Swagger and transformed Luna

Young Luna with Mick Swagger.

He is Luna's inspiration for being a rock girl, and she looks up to him as a hero, since she met him during his concert, as seen in "For Bros About to Rock". She often listens his songs and imitates his rock poses. Luna can also get excited and nervous when he's near to her.

In "Butterfly Effect", Mick offers Luna to join his tour after hearing her music video about her family falling apart on the internet. But later, he kicks her out from his tour after she destroyed her hotel room in a fit of rage. However, the whole episode was just Lincoln's fantasy.

In "Sleuth or Consequences", Luna chases him to obtain a lock of his hair during a concert.

In "House Music", Luna gets extremely excited when she learns Mick Swagger will be at the Family Fun Fair scouting for young talent. But after her bossy attitude gets her kicked out of the family band, she encounters a bearded stranger (who is really Mick in disguise) and she tells him about what had been happening. The stranger reminds her of Mick Swagger's words about having fun playing in a band. After performing with her family on stage at the fair, he compliments Luna for her talent and reveals himself, causing her to get so starstruck that she couldn't even say his name. When he walks off, she faints.

In "Yes Man", Luna wanted to buy Mick's sweaty shirt at his auction. Later, she is seen wearing the shirt while performing with her sisters for Lincoln.

Chunk

S3E03A Chunk and Luna playing the guitar

Luna and Chunk rocking on stage.

He is Luna's roadie. He often helps her with her equipment when she is getting ready to perform, as shown in "Project Loud House". He and Luna look to be in good terms.

In "Overnight Success", it was revealed that he was the bouncer for Luna's sleepover in a flashback.

In "Chore and Peace", Luna asks him what does he think about the song she composed. He answers her saying it stinks, but was referring to her room, due to the lot of garbage that was there, thanks to Lincoln.

In "House Music", he calls her to tell her about Mick Swagger scouting for talent at the fair.

In "Roughin' It", he once tried to get a piano into her room, which was impossible, due to its size.

In "Roadie to Nowhere", Luna learns that Chunk used to attend her school and starts to worry that she won't make it as a rock star since he was like her in high school. However, she eventually finds out that he still performs to this day in his own band and regains her confidence to perform at the Royal Rumble. During her performance, they both play on stage together.

Tabby

Luna and Tabby are good friends, as both are energetic rock music enthusiasts.

In "Dance, Dance Resolution", Luna asked Tabby to go on a date with Lincoln at the school's Sadie Hawkins dance.

In "L is for Love", Luna is revealed to have a crush on a girl named Sam, whom the audience is initially led to believe is a boy. Throughout the episode, she is hesitant about giving a token of her affection to Sam, and eventually places a love letter in Sam's locker at the end of the episode. It is then revealed to the audience that Sam is actually a girl, which in turn reveals that Luna is apparently bisexual (meaning that she's sexually attracted to both men and women).

In "Friendzy", in a dispute over privileges with her siblings, Sam was the first of her many friends she invites to her place in order to gain special privileges.

In "Racing Hearts", Luna and Sam participate in the Royal Woods Astonishing Quest. Initially, Luna believes the two of them would be perfect partners together. However, as they progress throughout various challenges, they begin to realize how much less they have in common, even when Luna takes Lori's advice to embrace Sam's interests so she can better understand her. On the final challenge, they had learned they did have something in common, which is their lack of interest in baking. Despite the fact they didn't win, they brush it off, saying that even if they don't have much in common, they want to spend time together so they can discover new things they like together.

In "Deep Cuts", Sam protests alongside Luna and their band mates to save their music club.

In "Purrfect Gig", Sam helps Luna catsit the McBride's cats. After being paid for their hard work, Sam gives her half of the money to Luna so that she can buy a VIP Pass to Mick Swagger's concert, much to Luna's happiness, who gives her a kiss on the cheek and a hug as thanks.

In "Snoop's On", Sam helps Luna get Leni, Luan, and Lincoln to confess that they had been reading Luna's diary by dressing up as a girl named Roxy, who Luna had written about in her fake stories, and going around town with Luna in order to fool the siblings.

In the comic "Sam's Pick" (printed in Live Life Loud!), Luna and Sam spend the day jamming throughout the Loud House and then exchange their guitar picks. The next day, Luna thinks she has lost Sam's pick and tries to distract Sam while her siblings look for it. When they couldn't find it and Sam asks why she's been acting nuts, Luna admits that she lost her pick. But Sam reveals that she put both picks inside Luna's guitar case to make sure they wouldn't lose them. With the pick found and all is forgiven, Luna performs in the attic for her siblings with Sam.

In the comic "Midnight Melody" (printed in After Dark), Luna was staying up at midnight after being struck by inspiration to write a song for Sam. As she struggles with finding the right word that rhymes with "world", she decides to call Sam for advice (while fearing she may be asleep, that she'll think that Luna is a weirdo or both). Fortunately, when Luna does call her, Sam was up binge-watching a new cooking competition show. As Luna confides to her with her rhyming issue, Sam explains that she's had the same problem and figured it would be "more punk" to make lyrics that don't rhyme and as long as they come from the heart, that's all that matters. Thanks to her advice, Luna was able to finish the song.
