"Meet the Casagrandes" is the first episode of The Casagrandes Familia Sounds. Plot[]Using Bobby’s stolen phone, Ronnie Anne and Sergio start the official Casagrandes Familia Sounds podcast, to show what it’s like living in a big crazy apartment building with all their family members and awesome neighbors. Synopsis[]Ronnie Anne is starting the first episode of her very own podcast, along with Sergio. Ronnie Anne wonders where Sergio got a phone, until Bobby enters searching for his and notices that Sergio’s phone looks identical. When he leaves Ronnie Anne immediately knows that Sergio stole Bobby’s phone but agrees to wait until after the podcast to return it. Ronnie Anne explains that her podcast will be about her city life, friends, and neighbours. Immediately, her best friend Sid comes to visit. Sid is very excited about Ronnie Anne’s podcast and starts whispering into the phone, explaining to Ronnie Anne that it’s called ASMR, something being done by all the cool podcasts. Ronnie Anne offers to let Sid be part of the podcast and they go to get started. Upon leaving her room, Ronnie Anne is greeted by Lalo, who is rather fascinated by the phone. Soon, they smell Rosa’s cooking and go to see it. They go to the kitchen where Rosa asks and subtly forces them to help her. When they finish, they notice Hector practicing with his mariachi band. Hector attempts to take a little of Rosa’s cooking, even though it’s not finished, explaining that her cooking is so good. Ronnie Anne decides to check out the rest of the building. Upon leaving the apartment they immediately run into Mr. Nakamura and Nelson. Then they see Mrs. Kernicky playing racquetball, she challenges one of them to play with her and Ronnie Anne accepts. After a few serves Mrs. Kernicky shoots a hardball, which lands right in Sergio’s mouth. They decide to continue on with the podcast. Suddenly Boby returns and notices Lori is calling what he still thinks is Sergio’s phone, before Bobby can realize, Mrs. Kernicky accidentally hits him with a ball. Ronnie Anne, Sergio and Sid enter apartment 2B. They meet Carlos and ask if he wants to be part of the podcast, Carlos agrees and starts rambling about the history of podcasts. When Ronnie Anne explains that the podcast is about her family Frida immediately tears up, and Carlota offers to let them promote their podcast on her vlog if ever they like. Ronnie Anne asks where Carl and CJ are, wanting them to be in the podcast too. Carl immediately shows up and decides it’s time for a lucha battle. He gives Ronnie Anne and Sid some costumes and snatches the phone, only willing to return it if the girls wrestle him and CJ for it. It’s a fierce battle, but the girls quickly overpower the boys. Just as Sergio is about to tap the boys out, Hector arrives and tells everyone it’s time for breakfast. They go to eat, Carl and CJ not willing to admit they were losing. The Casagrandes all sit for breakfast. Maria arrives having just finished a late-night shift. She starts talking about a wart removal she did and Carlota pukes on Bobby’s phone. Bobby shows up and thinks they found his phone. Ronnie Anne decides it is a good time to end the podcast. Bobby is about to return Lori’s messages, unfortunately, Ronnie Anne and Sergio used up all the battery on the podcast. Cast[]
