Well, that's tough; the story we were given was destined to fail IMO. I mean, the part where Lola forces her siblings to act as servants was just really cliché, and it's very hard to actually do something with that generic-as-all-get-out plotline. And the ending, well, it felt like she just did all that to join their club, not because she learned her lesson. Her saying, "It was the only way I could get you to hang out with me!", is quite infuriating, since she clearly knew she was a tattle-tale, and it still felt like she was passing on the blame to her siblings for them excluding her. Not to mention, she began to tattle again in her Listen Out Loud episode after (basically) promising to stop doing so here. I still do detest the episode, and I do think it is easily the most overrated Loud House episode of all-time, but it's not the worst for me anymore. I'd put it at around #4.
Well, I actually haven't seen it for myself, but I know what goes on and it sounds horrible, but at least it's frustrating and nothing more, rather than frustrating and spiteful. Seriously, all I took away from April Fools Rules was that it is OK to laugh at sadistic people, as evidenced by the fact that Luan never received karma for her actions! And even if we're not supposed to sympathize with her, she still gets off scot-free! And even worse, it's for kids. Wow! Really?! For kids? What is wrong with you if you think it's for kids? The family could've gotten killed by these traps! And that was literally the entire comedy of the episode! What did the crew need to get out of their system? No, seriously, they obviously needed to get something out of their system if they made and episode as spiteful as this! Basically saying that the actions of sadistic people are meant to be laughed off! Wow! Definitely for kids!
Ronnie Anne throwing a pie in Luan's face would've been the only redeeming quality to the episode, if it weren't for the ending, which completely negates it! And Leni's drawing straws joke was just nothing special. It did nothing to move the plot along, and it led to her just saying "Thank you, sign," over and over and over again, which already went nowhere.
Yeah! I've been waiting for a Lincoln-Lynn episode since last year! And after I found out the plot in August, I was hyped! But later on, I began to think, "what's the catch?" I mean, was I going to get my wish this easily? But, seeing as how great Net Gains and Sitting Bull were, I have nothing but confidence in the crew. And Lynn is my favorite character (which is ironic since I really don't like sports), so it's not like she'll be damaged here.
I know! She’s my favorite too! The hype for me was real when I heard the plot. A Lincoln-Lynn episode would be great. Sure, there is the Loudest Yard, but that was...all the way back on Season 1. Now we’re in Season 3! Anything could happen! And I’m sure the crew did great here!
Eh, I'd prefer not to. But it's good to see you doing well. How were your holidays? On Christmas morning, I opened one of my presents, and inside it was another present, so I opened it, and then there was another present, and another, and another, and another, and another. I was like, "Mom, you had this much time on your hands! You could've been doing so many other things!" And she said, "Shut up and open your present." And when I finally get to the bottom of the barrel, there is a car key. I'm still completely clueless, but then she tells me to go out to the garage, and I'll let you figure out the ending.
BTW, do you know what's up with Dragonzako? He's been gone for two months?
Dude... that is amazing! Congratulations! I got a new drawing tablet (the one I got last year didn't work out for me) and it is pretty awesome! I'm learning about what else I can use it with. I also went on a holiday trip with some family and friends. It was awesome! Almost felt like summer... but much colder... lol.
I think he's taking a break to focus on real life. Either that or because hes been through some real drama on this wiki.
Well, glad you had fun. I went down to Mystic, Connecticut (I do live in Connecticut, but not Mystic), to see some family friends a few days after Christmas, and we went to the seaport. That was pretty cool. And it was actually a fairly nice day. I mean, for a little while, I was able to walk outside in a t-shirt and jeans. For Christmas, my grandma from Delaware came up, and my aunt and cousin from San Francisco.
I agree. When I first heard about the episode back in August, I couldn't believe it! I thought something was up, since I didn't think I was gonna get my wish that easily. I put it off a few days after it came out, since I had tests at school, among other things, going on, plus I wanted to build the hype. I asked Dragonzako about it, and I remember that he said he had to go out for his dad's birthday. My dad's birthday was the day after his dad's. And this was well after I found out we're both from Connecticut and we were virtually the same age (we were born the same year, him in March, me in June). Wow.
