Hi Happy, I have some news that I know you are not going to like but feel that you should know. Yesterday there was a discussion held about whether we should delete the images in episode galleries to go with our new 75 image limit in galleries or not bother. The result didn't matter that much to me, in fact I probably would have liked to stay out of the mess of deleting all these images. But since this is what the community wanted, I will do anything that they would like me to do. So some of the staff (including myself) will be deleting images to abide by our new 75 image limit.
Hey there. I just wanted to give you some thoughts real quick. First of all, I'm ignoring the idea of what's the right number of images, etc. I don't wish to cause additional issues there. I noticed you stated you were an Admin elsewhere though you were removed as one here. The most important point to remember is that on a Fandom/Wikia wiki, Admins help guide the community and every successful community needs ideas and voices from others. A position of Admin should never be used for personal reasons so removing posts and closing them attempts to silence the lifeblood of a wiki. This doesn't mean you yourself can't have opinions, you just have to restrain yourself from forcing those onto others. I've also been on Fandom/Wikia for many years and have listened to many wiki disputes and the vast majority of conflicts come from wikis that have Admins that are either too passionate with their thoughts and can't handle any criticism or flat out silence any opposition. In an environment that depends on teamwork, such actions cannot be allowed to occur. I urge you to take the past couple days as a learning experience to become an even better Admin elsewhere.
If you mean being blocked on the other wiki, I didn't consider that at all in the above post (I personally didn't even look into it). Regardless of that block, removing and closing posts when they didn't support your opinion was a huge problem and was what I was focusing on here.
I just wanted to drop by, and say that we can be peaceful to resolve yesterday's issue. I'm not here to start anything, I simply want to help everyone to stay cool, and try to compromise. Compromise is the keyword, and if we find some kind of agreement, everyone can be happy. You've done a lot of great work for this site, and I tip my hat to you, but please, let's try to resolve this peacefully?
I'm not a staff member, just a humble regular user who wants peace between users. I remember you talked about Phineas and Ferb wiki yesterday, and I suggest maybe try the Milo Murphy's Law wiki. They don't have much activitu there, and I'm sure they'd love a busy bee like yourself helping out. I hope I can try to help you out, so we don't end up with a problem.
Whatever you do, don't demote me! I've only been here since August! I'm already #3 on the rankings board!
I understand, and I want to help you out. DandAndy is willing to cooperate, and give you time, and I can only hope what I'm trying to say will be considered. I'm a very morally grounded person, and I wish for things to be as fair, and as peaceful as possible.
Thanks for being so nice. I have been an admin at many places, for a long time. One time, out of the many, I was at a wiki that really hurt me. I shared that because it hurt. Alot. Now I see that I should not have shared that, because it was only used against me.
You're welcome! I believe in fair play, and giving people the benefit of the doubt, and that people should have a chance to redeem themselves. I tried to keep peace as best as I could, but you can't blame a guy for trying. Like I suggested before, the Milo Murphy's Law wiki doesn't have much activity, so if you like you can try with adding pictures over there.
You cannot disrespect innocent wiki users. And he's right, there simply can't be so many images. I agree with his example of a good gallery. Did we even elect you to be admin? And you can't just simply close threads you don't like!
The question is why are you saying this to me?! When this got brought up, it spread like a virus! In my opinion, the photos I upload are beautiful, and just enough to complete the gallery! I'm not "resisting public opinion", I just didn't like this idea! Less photos are too few to me!
We don't need a photo for every moment in the episode! Thank goodness I think blocking you is too severe! But if you overload the galleries one more time, your account gets the axe! However, your demotion is not too severe. After all, we didn't elect you.
Since you have mentioned twice now that a bully has blocked you on the FIM wiki I did some digging. Turns out that you were blocked for continuously uploading duplicate images and ignoring talk page messages that the "bully" was sending you. As of now I see that you haven't slown down on your upload count in episode galleries. If you are not going to cooperate with us, then I ask you to please leave on your own terms.
You are going to have to cut down on uploads more than that. Whether you watch this show or not, this is how I expect the galleries to look. A few more images would definitely be acceptable, but this is generally how a gallery should be like.
Which is why I refuse to add pictures or even edit there. I don't even watch that show.
Right now, I give every gallery I have finished an A+, because they have just enough to complete the photo storyline. As for the incomplete ones, I give them a C for now. Small galleries have an F, while most galleries with not every image get a B.
You should check the galleries on the P&F wikis. Right now, I give them all A+!
Whether you watched the show or not is not the issue at hand.
That is the way the P&F community wanted to make the galleries. Just about everyone here wants the image counts to decrease on episodes. Since The Loud House has so many main characters, it is difficult including each of these images in their respective locations. So I find it best to upload images more like the one I sent you for the sake of this wiki.
A thread that I recently made has the opinions of other users concerning the A fair to Remember gallery along with how the galleries should look in the future. You can find the thread here. From what I have gathered, the gallery for A Fair To Remember is found as either finished (by the majority of voters) or could use a few more images. If you are still going to add images to the gallery do not upload them the way you normally do. Instead consider uploading images that DandyAndy1987 recommended to be uploaded.
Well, it's not that you're the only one. It's more that you're the best one. Such good quality, a good collection of shots from most episodes, I asked you because I felt you were the best person to ask.
