Trivia[]

  • The premise of this episode is similar to those of the Loud House episodes "Pipe Dreams" and "Room for Improvement with the Casagrandes", as they all involve two people making a secret space exclusively for themselves.
  • This episode reveals the following:
    • Lana knows how to crossbreed species.
    • Clyde frequently stays in Lincoln's room overnight, and he has a cubby with his stuff in it.
    • Leni loves to eat green food.
    • Lily always falls asleep when taken on a late-night drive.
    • Lynn Sr. appreciates Rita's singing voice.
  • A wig mannequin with the same pageant wig that was used for Todd's Lincoln disguise in "The Macho Man with the Plan" is visible on the side of Lincoln's bed.
  • Eva Carlton considers Leni's bubble dress from this episode to be one of her two favorite outfits from the series, with other being an outfit from Home Is Where the Hero Is.[1]
  • Luna plays Kiki Carlyle's song "Dance with Your Hands" from "Heart and Soul" at her and Leni's lounge and at Beakers and Creepers.
  • Lynn and Lana's private club is the only one that did not become the victim of an external conflict. Instead, it ended up being abandoned due to Lincoln starting a food fight, which led to Tony Hawk reminding everyone that family is the only thing that matters.
    • Out of all the private clubs that fell victim to an external conflict, Lincoln and Clyde's private club is the only one that was not sabotaged; instead, it was abandoned simply because the boys decided they wanted to join Leni and Luna's lounge.
  • Luan and Lola, due to being absent from this episode, are the only pair of sisters (besides Lori, who is in college, and Lily, who is a toddler and constantly trying to be put to sleep by her parents throughout the episode) who did not open their own exclusive club.
    • Thus, this also marks Lana's first appearance without Lola in the live-action series.
  • This is the highest-viewed episode of The Really Loud House.
  • Irony:
    • Leni moves into Lincoln's room with Tanya, despite establishing that the two of them are not on speaking terms.
    • Lynn Sr. proclaims that no one tells him where he can or cannot go, only for Rita to shout at him to join her, and he immediately does so.
    • Lincoln initially doubts that Leni and Luna's lounge will outcool his and Clyde's hangout spot in the attic, only to decide to join it with Clyde.
    • Luna plays "Dance with Your Hands" at the L2 Lounge, despite the fact that in "Heart and Soul", she was seemingly not a fan of that song to the point of filming her performance of "Eyes Closed" to go viral.
    • Lynn Sr., who had the idea to put Lily to sleep by taking her out for a late-night drive, forgot to put her in Vanzilla when he and Rita first left.
    • Lincoln, Clyde, Leni and Luna originally planned to smash the plutonium orb as a means of putting Lucy and Lisa's private club out of business and making theirs functional again, but they ended up knocking out the power for the entire town.
    • After causing a city-wide blackout, Lincoln declares that he does not want to join any more exclusive clubs, but he, along with Clyde, Leni, Luna, Lucy and Lisa, ends up wanting to join Lynn and Lana's private club.
    • Lynn Sr. gave Rita the idea to put Lily to sleep by singing to her, but he ended up falling asleep to the lullaby as well.
      • In addition, Rita suggested that Lynn Sr. put Lily to sleep by telling her a story, but she ended up falling asleep to the story as well.
    • Tony Hawk makes a pun by saying, "This guacamole is making a guaca-melee", despite the fact that the guacamole was being thrown, essentially making it ranged.
    • Lincoln initially did not like his sisters invading his personal space in his bedroom, but in the end, he ended up throwing a party there.

References[]

  • Bill Nye the Science Guy - While trying to make a point that he was not responsible for sabotaging Leni and Luna's wi-fi, Lincoln compares himself to the eponymous host of this 1993 science educational television program.
  • Cleopatra - This ancient Egyptian pharaoh is listed on the guest list for Beakers and Creepers.
    • Coincidentally, Clyde's cat, Cleopawtra, is named after her.
  • Count Dracula - This fictional vampire based on Vlad the Impaler is also listed on the guest list for Beakers and Creepers.
  • Hush, Little Baby - Rita sings this song in an attempt to make Lily fall asleep.
    • Tony Hawk also sings a skateboard-themed arrangement later in the episode.
  • Lynn mentions how Tony Hawk has won the Kids' Choice Awards five times, with these times being in 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2008.
  • David Attenborough - Lynn Sr.'s audiobook British accent bears a strong similarity to the voice of this English broadcaster.

Product placement[]

  • Slinky - Lincoln finds one of these toys created by Richard T. James in the attic.
  • Mouse Trap - This board game is visible in the attic.
  • Primo Water Corporation - A two-liter bottle of strawberry lemonade by this beverage company can be seen at Lynn and Lana's party.
  • Refresco - A two-liter bottle of Stars & Stripes cola can also be seen at Lynn and Lana's party.

Errors[]

  • Lynn Sr.'s line, "Nobody tells the big dog where he can or cannot go," is spelled in the closed captions as "Nobody tells the big dog where he can and cannot go."
  • Possible:
    • Lynn, Luna, and Lynn Sr. all mention that Lincoln is the only sibling without a roommate. However, Leni has had her room all to herself since Lori moved to college.
      • They may be considering Tanya as Leni's roommate, since Leni tends to treat her like a real person, or the fact that Lori stays in Leni's room whenever she comes home from college.[2]
    • When Lana shows the guest list for her and Lynn's private club to Lincoln, Clyde, Leni, Luna, Lucy and Lisa the first time, only their own names are written on it. However, when Lynn explains how the house is getting power, Tony Hawk's name is also on the guest list. It is likely that Lana wrote it down off-screen.
    • After Tony Hawk points out that family is all that matters, Lincoln mentions that his sisters had taken over his room "yesterday", despite the fact that it happened on the same day he and Clyde decided to open a private club. However, it is possible that it turned midnight before or while everyone entered Lynn and Lana's private club.
  • When the Loud parents take Lily on a late-night drive, some lights can be shining onto Vanzilla, despite the fact that Lincoln had knocked out the power for all of Royal Woods when he smashed the plutonium orb earlier on.
