Thinking it looks like fun, the other kids try to get in on Lola's home-schooling.
Synopsis
Lori reminds her siblings that they need to get ready for school. As the siblings wait for Luna to finish up showering, Lola is shown to be the only one not getting ready. It turns out that Lola is being home-schooled since it's pageant season, and that she needs more time to practice. The siblings are complaining about the fact that they have busy schedules as well, yet they still have to go to regular school. Lincoln, in the form of a presentation, is seeking permission from Rita and Lynn Sr. if they can be home-schooled. They agree, but on one condition: they need to get their work done, or else they'll be forced to go back to regular school.
Homeschool Louds.
Now that they're home-schooled, the siblings are free to do whatever they want all day. However, Lola keeps reminding her siblings that they need to work on their assignments soon. The siblings attempt to get some work done, but they can't get through the first page of their workbook without getting distracted. At night, the siblings are getting themselves ready for bed. Suddenly, Lola reveals that there's going to be a test tomorrow, stating that when someone is home-schooled, they're required to take a test every Friday to make sure they studied. To make matters worse, Lola warns them that if they fail, they're forced to go back to regular school.
In Lori and Leni's room, the siblings are panicking, since they made no effort in studying. Lisa's initially not worried, but to her discovery, her test will involve an arts and crafts project, which she is not good at (due to stubby fingers). Lincoln insists that they pull an all-nighter to study, and everyone proposes to do it in Lisa's underground bunker. Upon entering, the siblings are irritated at the distractions they cause. Realizing that studying by themselves isn't the best solution, Lincoln insists that they ask Lola for help, despite the fact that she needs eight hours of sleep, or else she won't function. Despite that, they decide to ask Lola for help, and Lola reluctantly agrees. The next day, the siblings take their tests, and they all end up passing, except for Lola, whose lack of sleep resulted in her leaving her test unfinished. As a result, Lola is forced to go back to regular school the upcoming Monday. This leaves the remaining siblings feeling bad for Lola.
Home-school is only for those that need it most.
On Monday, as Lola gets up to get ready for school, the remaining siblings are shown to be waiting in line for the bathroom. Lola is confused as to why her siblings are up so early, and they explain that they're going back to regular school because they admit that they were responsible for her failing her test, and are going back just so they won't interfere anymore. They also told their parents what happened, and they agreed to give her a second chance. Happy with their sacrifice, Lola hugs them, when suddenly, the siblings hear a school bus outside. Quickly rushing outside, the siblings discover that Mr. Grouse bought another CD, this time with vintage school bus sounds, much to their annoyance.
This episode was confirmed on an Instagram post by Jessica DiCicco during the middle of Season 2.
In addition, this was the first episode of Season 3 to be confirmed. This was due to the show still being on its second season when this episode was confirmed.
This episode reveals that Lola is homeschooled during pageant season.
Each of the books on the title card corresponds to one of the Loud kids, because of their theme colors. From top to bottom, light blue is Lori, purple is Luna, red is Lynn, yellow is Luan, and orange is Lincoln.
Leni is the only older sister to not have a color-themed book.
This is the last episode solo-directed by Chris Savino.
This scene was cut due to taking up too much time. Rats!
According to Dylan Carbonell, a former Nickelodeon intern, there was a scene that involved a multi-armed rat squirming on Leni's head. The set up was somebody saying "Guess who has 18 thumbs and is Homeschooled?", and Lisa assumed they meant her lab rat. The scene was most likely removed due to time constraints.[1]
There was a deleted scene where Luna trips on Leni's cosmetics basket after leaving the bathroom, and slams face-first on the floor.[2]
When Lola said she needed to go to ribbon dancing rehearsals, the license plate on the Princess Car can be seen. It reads "CYA", which is an abbreviation of the phrase "see ya."
This also marks the first time that the inside of the bunker is seen.
One of the questions in the quiz booklet is "Darin Mc(Blank)", and one of the answer choices was "Gowan". This is a reference to one of the series' storyboard artist, Darin McGowan.
According to Lisa in this episode, she's not skilled at arts and crafts, due to stubby fingers. She even refers to it as her "Achilles' heel".
Irony: Lola was the one sibling warning the siblings about how homeschool worked, but Rita announced that Lola is the only student who will not be homeschooled on Monday.
To go the opposite direction, Lola ended up as the only one to be homeschooled that day.

No Place Like Homeschool - The title of this episode is an obvious reference to the famous Wizard of Oz quote "There's no place like home."
Achilles' heel - According to Lisa, arts and crafts is her "Achilles' heel". Achilles' heel is a metaphor meaning a sign of weakness/vulnerability.
Errors
In some scenes, Leni is missing her right eyelashes when her eyes are open while she's wearing her night attire.
When the Loud siblings look out the window, a red sleeve appears to cover Lynn’s arm, even though the sleeves of her pajamas are quite different, being short and having a base color of white.
Did anyone notice the long purple sleeves?
When the sisters push Lincoln into Lola's room, the sleeves of Luna's nightshirt are long, even though they're usually short.
When Lincoln grabs Lana and says, "It's too late for discipline", Lana's left eyelashes disappear.
When Lola learns that she has been given a second chance at being homeschooled, she's wearing her pink gloves. But when she engages in a group hug, she's not wearing them anymore.
Also, in some parts of the scene, her left eyelashes are missing.
Lola was sleep-deprived from missing out on several hours of sleep, but her siblings didn't sleep at all that night and they didn't become sleep-deprived.
