Synopsis[]

As Ronnie Anne and Sid watch Twelve is Midnight clips, Sid is impressed at how strong Ronnie Anne bonds with her male cousins, such as CJ telling her that it's raining, helping Carl beat a level in a video game and Carlitos giving her a cup of apple juice. However, when Carlota arrives, Ronnie Anne attempts to share a bonding moment, but it ends up feeling awkward. Ronnie Anne tells Sid that she has a hard time bonding with Carlota, as she keeps messing up. At that moment, the adults announce that they're heading to an adult-only hibachi restaurant and remind them that Carlota is in charge and Bobby is downstairs working in the Mercado. The moment the adults leave, Sid tells Ronnie Anne that this is the perfect chance for her to bond with Carlota.

It appears Ronnie Anne and Carlota never bonded.

Sometime later, Ronnie Anne attempts to bond with Carlota in any way she could like wanting the eat the same food, watch the same TV show or take a magazine quiz, but these attempts don't help in any way. Suddenly, the boys pull a prank on them, making Carlota reveal that whenever she's put in charge, the boys like to pull pranks on her. Ronnie Anne realizes that helping Carlota get back at the boys could be the perfect opportunity to bond with her.

As Ronnie Anne and Carlota get their prank ready, Bobby arrives, and the girls warn him about their trap. This makes Bobby reveal that when he and Ronnie Anne lived back in Royal Woods, Ronnie Anne would always prank Bobby. Some time passes and the boys haven't fallen victim to the prank yet. When Ronnie Anne and Carlota check, they realize that their prank is missing. They exit the apartment when suddenly, they fall victim to their own prank. Realizing that the boys used the girls' prank against them, they attempt to get back at them with more pranks. However, the boys manage to use the pranks against them every time. Just when Ronnie Anne and Carlota begin to question on how the boys already know about their pranks, the phone rings. It turns out to be Maybelle, asking why the Mercado is closed. This causes Ronnie Anne to realize that Bobby was helping the boys out as a way to get back at Ronnie Anne for all the times he got pranked by her. Now knowing their secret, Ronnie Anne and Carlota start devising a way to get back at the boys.

As the boys celebrate by drinking boxes of juice, Bobby gets a reminder on his phone saying that Ronnie Anne is heading down the Mercado. Needing to head back to the Mercado so it appears that Bobby is still working there, the boys exit the room, and Ronnie Anne and Carlota spray them with pickle juice and cover them in catnip, causing the street cats to stampede into the building and attack the boys. Unfortunately, Ronnie Anne and Carlota's victory is short-lived, as the cats end up destroying Carlota's entire room. Seeing the destruction they caused, Ronnie Anne admits that she only wanted to get back at the boys because she just wanted to bond with Carlota so they could be closer together. Carlota, however, thinks of the opposite, as she believed that Ronnie Anne wouldn't want to hang out with her because of her interests. Realizing that they both admire each other very much, the two begin to hang out together.
