Season 3 is the third season of The Loud House, which was renewed by Nickelodeon on October 19, 2016, and will consist of 26 half-episodes. Season 3 premiered on January 19, 2018 with the episodes "Roadie to Nowhere" and "A Fridge Too Far".

Chris Savino has created a very engaging and relatable world through the animated series ‘The Loud House,’ which is a proven hit with our audience, said James Stephenson, senior vice president, animation and games, at Nickelodeon. The season three order is a demonstration of Nickelodeon’s continued commitment to bringing fresh stories to our viewers, it will then be a thing to love between Lincoln Loud and his 10 sisters.[1]

On July 25, 2018, the staff had announced that this season has officially ended production, and have begun working on Season 4.

Trivia

  • According to Chris Savino, Lincoln will be absent from a few episodes of Season 3, thus making this the first season to do so.
  • This season has four full-length episodes, including a "road trip", a "rock opera", and a "Thanksgiving" special.
  • This is the last season directed by Chris Savino due to him being fired by Nickelodeon on October 19, 2017 for sexual misconduct allegations.
    • It is also the last season to have him as the show runner, executive producer, and writer. The last episode that has him as the show runner and executive producer is "Tea Tale Heart", and the last episode he has written is "White Hare".
    • This is also the last season where Kyle Marshall and Chris Savino direct episodes together as Kyle would still direct episodes after the events of Savino's firing.
    • "What Wood Lincoln Do?" is the final episode Chris directs.
  • This is also the last season to have Violaine Briat as storyboard artist, due to her departure from Nickelodeon on July 14, 2017.[2]
  • According to The Loud House Writers in the Nickelodeon Animation Podcast, Season 3 will feature episodes about more emotional topics. Savino says that they have covered everything, except for death.[3]
  • This is the last season where Caleel Harris and Collin Dean voice Clyde and Lincoln, respectively, due to both of them hitting puberty. Andre Robinson takes over the role of Clyde starting with "Head Poet's Anxiety", while Tex Hammond takes over the role of Lincoln starting with "Game Boys".
