"Silent Fight" is the twenty-sixth episode of the third season, and the one-hundredth-first episode of The Casagrandes.

Plot[]

Once Carlitos falls asleep, Carl and CJ must conduct all their playing - and fighting - in absolute silence!

Synopsis[]

Carlitos has been crying nonstop for almost 24 hours due to having a cold. Frida and Carlos tried different ways to make Carlitos fall asleep, but none of them worked. CJ tells Carl he's done making El Falcon's base, so he tosses him La Cobra, which CJ says is his turn to play as El Falcon, which causes them to fight. Frida and Carlos' last resort to make Carlitos fall asleep is soothing speed walking, which they jogged around the apartment, which makes Carlitos fall asleep. Frida then hears Carl and CJ screaming, so she grabs them and tells them if they wake him up, they'll be grounded for two months. She places Carlitos in his crib, then Carlos and Frida fall asleep on their bed.

Throughout the day, Carl and CJ did various things to one another while fighting in silence.

  • Carl kicks over CJ's El Falcon's base. CJ then deletes all the games on Carl's handheld.
  • Carl grabs CJ's clippers and tosses them out the window. CJ grabs Carl's El Falcon's shoes and also tosses them out the window.
  • Carl eats CJ's piece of cake. CJ uses all of Carl's hair products on Lalo.
  • Carl runs into their room and grabs one of CJ's trophies to starch himself. CJ grabs Carl's foam finger and picks his nose with it.

The boys then fight in the hallway when Carl accidentally steps on El Falcon, who starts talking and shooting elote's. Carl tosses the toy in the couch cushion, and thinking they're in the clear, Lalo grabs El Falcon. Carl and CJ run through the apartment chasing Lalo with El Falcon, and the constant sound of him saying "elote" wakes up Carlitos. CJ grabs El Falcon from Lalo, and he and Carl listen to see if the noise woke their parents. Both look in front of them to see that Carlitos is awake. Remembering what Frida said would happen to them and Carlitos about to cry, the boys think fast. Carl gets the idea by running in place, which Carlitos likes, and then making funny faces, which Carlitos isn't a fan of. CJ then gets an idea and goes to the fridge to get Carl's slice of cake, which he enjoys, but he soils himself. The boys play rock, paper, scissors over who changes him; Carl loses to CJ.

Once finishing changing Carlitos, the boys fight over who throws the diaper away. Carlitos gets off the couch, and when they see he's gone, they spot him walking into their parents' room. He tries to climb on Carlos, but he grabs him, which causes him to whimper. The boys try to get him out of their dad's arm, but Carl spots Lalo walking by and switches him with Carlitos. CJ puts Carlitos back in his crib, and he and Carl tell him to go to sleep, but he refuses. Carl grabs The Sleeping Sheep Book, to which CJ points out that they can be sheep. After using glue, cotton balls, and Ronnie Anne's jackets, the boys dressed up as sheep. They are jumping over the crib like children counting sheep, which exhausts Carlitos and causes him to fall asleep. As they were sneaking out of the room, Carl saw El Falcon in CJ's back pocket and grabbed it while CJ tried to get it back. One of the elote shoots out of El Falcon, ricochets around the room, and hits Carlitos, causing him to cry. The crying startles Frida and Carlos and see CJ and Carl try to sneak out of the room, but Frida stops them in their tracks and grounds them for fighting at each other that caused Carlitos to cry and want them silent.

The boys enter their room and sit on their beds, glaring at one another. Realizing this all started because CJ wanted to play as El Falcon, Carl goes to his desk, grabs Master Kitsune, and goes to CJ with a note in El Falcon's arm, asking "Want to play?" CJ nods in agreement. Carlos gets Carlitos to fall asleep, and Frida places him back in his crib. They both check on what Carl and CJ are up to and see them playing together in silence. Carlos is overjoyed that the boys made it up all on their own, but the volume of his voice wakes Carlitos up again, and Frida tells him he's grounded.
