    • Lana taught Duncan how to brush his teeth.
    • Duncan dislikes tanning, swimming, and raspberry pops, but he likes the trash at the pool.
    • Bobby likes mariachi, but he dubs rock "hipper" and "cooler". Rosa also attended all of Hector's mariachi shows when she was a teenager.
    • Arturo and Ronnie Anne both like going to the fair, but while Arturo likes the pigs and is scared of the rides, Ronnie Anne likes the rides and finds the pigs boring. He may also be prone to motion sickness as Ronnie Anne tells him not to eat before going on a ride, and he has bad aim, while Ronnie Anne and Maria have good aim.
    • Sid has always admired the "tenacity" of ants, she apparently has fallen asleep outside by accident before, and she only likes ghost stories if they have a happy ending.
    • Hector apparently eats two lunches.
    • The part of camping that CJ likes best is the ghost stories.
    • Lori went as a princess for Halloween when she was in third grade.
