Episode Information

"The Blemish Dilemish" is the fourth episode of the first season of The Really Loud House.

Plot[]

We meet the Action News Team as Lincoln finds himself taken aback by a new crush. Mom and Dad attempt to befriend a doctor to avoid the astronomical medical expenses that come with having 11 children.

Synopsis[]

Act I[]

One night, Lucy and Lisa enter Rita and Lynn Sr.'s bedroom to explain that Lisa is having stomach issues and believes it to be appendicitis, with Lucy preparing to bury Lisa alive. Lynn Sr. rushes Lisa to the emergency room, where they confirm that she has a stomach ache from Lynn Sr.'s "Lynn-chiladas". As the visit alone costs $300.50, Lynn Sr. and Lisa leave before he can spend any more money.

At Royal Woods Middle School, the Action News Team is brainstorming potential ideas for a story, in which Rusty reveals that Lincoln has a butt pimple that has been putting him on edge. Ms. Tyte enters and introduces them to a new student to cover: Charlie Uggo, a girl whose very presence makes all the school boys attracted to her, even Lincoln. Clyde goes over the basics of the group's new student segment, but Lincoln, smitten with her, wants to extend his interview with her.

Back at the Loud House, Lynn Sr. hosts his own pseudo-doctor clinic, where he treats his daughters' maladies. Just before he can treat Lisa, who has been shot with an arrow, Rita comes in and explains to her husband that the Louds need a real doctor on 24-hour call. Lynn Sr. argues that their financial situation means that his method is more practical, but Rita notifies him that a new doctor has moved in to the neighborhood, giving Lynn Sr. an idea.

Back at school, Lincoln hosts the new student segment, where he interviews Charlie. As Charlie explains why she moved over to Royal Woods, Lincoln is so smitten by her he ignores the entirety of her explanation, causing him to start making inappropriate remarks on her statement before eventually freezing up and admitting that he has a butt pimple live on camera.

Act II[]

Returning to the Loud House, Lincoln learns from Leni, Luna, and Luan that his butt pimple speech has become a meme, getting merchandise and a trending music remix. Meanwhile, Lynn Sr. and Rita dress up in their finest to invite their new neighbor, Dr. Simmons, over for dinner so they can make him their family doctor, free of charge. Arriving at Dr. Simmons's house, they invite him over for dinner, but when Dr. Simmons states he is not interested, Lynn Sr. convinces him by offering to serve him his own fried chicken.

Later, Lincoln laments his troubles to Bun-Bun inside a grave Lucy dug up in the backyard, but is comforted by Leni, Luna, and Luan, who offer to help him bounce back from infamy and teach him how to win over Charlie's heart. However, the sisters get distracted when Lynn Sr. announces dinner. Lynn Sr. also offers to help Lincoln, but is also distracted when Dr. Simmons arrives for dinner. After dinner is over, Lynn Sr. and Rita make him stay behind and play games in an attempt to get medical advice. However, Dr. Simmons reveals that he has been frequently manipulated into admitting medical advice, but agrees to only treat one person: Lincoln, to which he offers an adult diaper to let his butt pimple heal. After Dr. Simmons leaves, Lincoln admits that his confidence is back, but just then, Charlie comes by to give Lincoln his school homework. Uncomfortable with his medical diaper, she quickly leaves. The next day, footage of Lincoln in his diaper becomes viral at school.

Act III[]

Lincoln once again hides in Lucy's grave to avoid the humiliation, but Clyde and Rusty visit, explaining that they can clear his name on Rusty's show, Real Talk With Rusty. On the show, Rusty has Lincoln talk about his humiliation, but Lincoln makes an impassioned speech, explaining that everyone has flaws, and they just need the confidence to not be brought down by their flaws. This is met with a standing ovation across the world.

Outside school, Charlie congratulates Lincoln on his speech, admitting him to be a great and relatable person and revealing she has an extra toe. However, when he asks to go out with her to Auntie Pam's Parlor, she reveals that she is now in a relationship with Rusty. Lincoln is disheartened, but joins his family and Clyde in Lucy's grave, where the sisters and Lynn Sr. congratulate him on his speech.

Errors[]

  • Stella's last name is misspelled in the credits as "Zhou".
  • Charlie claims that her last name is pronounced /uʒo/ due to it being of French origin. However, Clyde's dossier on her and the credits reveal that her last name is spelled "Uggo", which would be pronounced /ygo/ in accordance with the standard rules of French orthography.
  • When Dr. Simmons says, "N.I.: Not interested", the subtitles read, "And I'm not interested."
  • In one shot, a mic can be seen after Dr. Simmons was told about Lincoln's butt pimple.[1]

  • During the intro of his talk show, Rusty is frequently shown changing from wearing a white shirt to a green shirt underneath his jacket.
