Trivia[]

  • This was the last The Really Loud House episode to premiere prior to the premiere of No Time to Spy: A Loud House Movie.
  • The twins' subplot is similar to the one from "Heart and Soul", as both involve them trying to settle issues with their parents, unaware that other forces are hindering the methods they have learned.
  • This is the first episode to depict the Casagrande mercado.
  • In this episode, Lincoln and Clyde produce Robot Wars 2, the sequel to the movie they made in "McLouds vs Machine".
  • Lincoln and Clyde questioning why Moneygreen wants their film by sundown, only for him to change the deadline to noon is similar to how Flip made his brother Walter Phillipini change his deadline from midnight to sundown in "The Princess and the Everlasting Emerald: A Royal Woods Fairytale".
  • This episode reveals the following:
    • When Lincoln wants to negotiate a change with Lynn Sr., he uses the club sandwich method, which dictates that if you butter him up all at once, he will catch onto the scheme, whereas doing it in sections makes the negotiation easier.
    • Lori's favorite color is baby blue.
    • Bobby is allergic to wool.
    • Nobody in the Loud family knows how to read lips.
    • Leni knows how to understand Lori whenever she talks while crying.
    • The twins have recently had their curfew changed from 12:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
    • The garage does not have a rug in it.
  • If one is quick to notice, Leni is holding the dictionary upside down.
  • Leni knowing how to translate Lori's scattered speech while crying is similar to Rita being able to translate Lynn Sr.'s fear-induced gibberish in the Loud House episode "Silence of the Luans".
  • The garage that Patrick films in heavily resembles the Loud family's garage.
  • The foods in the produce section at the mercado:
    • Fruits:
      • Apples
      • Bananas
      • Oranges
      • Grapes
      • Strawberries
      • Mangoes
      • Pineapples
      • Watermelons
      • Papayas
      • Peaches
    • Vegetables:
      • Calibers
      • Tomatoes
      • Onions
      • Carrots
      • Bell peppers
      • Lettuce
      • Spinach
      • Garlic
      • Zucchini
      • Green beans
  • A Korn Dog Hut outlet is depicted in the food court at the Royal Woods Mall.
  • Foreshadowing: When Patrick shows up and ruins Leni and Luna's plan, Leni admits that she finds him cute, foreshadowing their romance in "A Really Loud Thanksgiving: The Gobble Squabble Debacle".
  • Irony:
    • Lincoln deduces from Bobby's body language that he wants to become a grooving balloon. The Casagrande family already has a grooving balloon, so Bobby's dream job would have been rendered obsolete.
    • Despite living with ten sisters, Lincoln knows very little about what women like in general.
    • Leni and Luna's plan to reunite Lori with Bobby conflicted with Lincoln, Clyde, Lynn and Lisa's plan. Patrick spilling the beans about him being hired ultimately causes Lori to believe that Bobby paid him, rather than her siblings.
    • Lana's lie that she and Lola found Lynn Sr.'s wallet under the rug in the garage caused Lynn Sr. to discover that they were using the club sandwich method and the "fire starter, fire chief" method at the same time.
      • In addition, this issue prompted Lynn Sr. to cancel Rita's credit card, inadvertently preventing her from buying bananas.
    • Bobby's promise to wear his pants every day meant that he had to wear them on set, which ultimately cut Moneygreen's desire to invest in Lincoln and Clyde's movie and take his investment to a dog that he heard can play the jazz piano.

References[]

  • The Boyfriend Stays in the Picture - The title of this episode is a reference to the 2002 documentary film The Kid Stays in the Picture.
  • Taylor Swift - While thinking of things that women like, Lincoln and Clyde write this pop singer's name on their whiteboard.

Errors[]

  • Possible: Lynn says that she has never lost at anything, despite the fact that she previously lost a bet to Lincoln in "Nice Guys Finish First" (along with a heavily implied loss in "Spelling and Doorbelling" due to her chickening out of the game), on top of her animated counterpart facing numerous losses in sports matches in episodes like "Net Gains" and "Friday Night Fights". However, it is likely that she was being sarcastic to further her determination to hook Lori back up with Bobby.
