It is unknown who portrays four members of Death on Wheels, Pat, Angel, and the receptionist. It is also unknown who portrays the young version of Lincoln, as the actor looks different than Justin Allan.

Trivia[]

  • This is the only episode where none of Lincoln's sisters appear, although Lily is mentioned. Thus, this episode features the lowest amount of main cast members, at four.
  • This episode reveals the following:
    • Whenever the Loud parents tell the kids that they need to get on the road in the morning, it takes roughly 26 minutes for them to board Vanzilla after the first call of, "We're leaving!"
    • Clyde does not know that Howard works at Dynacorp. However, he does know that he hates his accounting cohort, Rick, due to him being a jerk.
    • Unlike their animated counterparts, who met on Halloween when they were five years old and bonded over their common interests in Ace Savvy,[1] the live-action versions of Lincoln and Clyde met each other when they were in first grade, when they both missed the bus. On the walk home that day, they found $5 on the sidewalk and bought milkshakes at Mac's and bonded over that.
    • Lincoln and Clyde built a fortress near the railyard when they were little, which they labeled "Fort McCloud".
    • Unlike his animated counterpart, who once handled a domesticated tarantula,[2] Lincoln is arachnophobic.
    • Clyde prefers to use the slang term "chopper" to refer to a motorcycle more than to a helicopter.
    • Lincoln is not strong enough to punch through metal.
    • Clyde has had a crush on Angie for six years.
  • The premise of this episode is similar to that of "The Chore Thing", as both involve Lincoln and Clyde encountering a dangerous gang while away from home. The main difference is that in this episode, Lincoln and Clyde provoked Death on Wheels, while in the aforementioned episode, they encountered the Custard Gang while Chief Wellington was responding to an emergency involving them.
  • Lynn Sr. warns Lincoln and Clyde not to start any indoor fires after Rita tells them not to make indoor smores, possibly meaning that they still refuse to accept that Lynn Sr. caused the fire with his glasses in "Loud Family Court: The Flames of Justice".
  • The license plate on the moving truck reads "8348-GUV5".
  • While complaining about the times he has been Lincoln's wingman, Clyde brings up the events of "The Princess and the Everlasting Emerald: A Royal Woods Fairytale" (where he could've been arrested for impersonating a bus station inspector), "Louds in Love" (where he had a to bribe a girl so that he can partake in Lincoln's date with Zia), and "The Tennessee Surprise: Love Is in the Air" (where he and Lincoln were caught in a runaway balloon with Charlie Uggo, Marcus, and Mr. Bolhofner).
  • This is the last episode:

References[]

  • The Odyssey - The title of this episode is a reference to the Greek poem of the same name by Homer.
  • Goodnight Moon - Sleep Tight Florida is a parody of this 1947 children's book by Margaret Wise Brown.
  • Max Keeble's Big Move - The premise of this episode is similar to that of this 2001 film, as both involve the main character getting into trouble while on the verge of moving away before discovering that they are not moving after all due to their parents not getting the new jobs they wanted.
  • Sony - Buford controls the miniature helicopter with a DualShock 4 controller.

Errors[]

  • Plot hole:
    • It is unknown how Buford knew Clyde's last name, given that they are implied to have never interacted prior to this episode.
    • Possible: This episode establishes that Clyde does not know Angie's name, despite them having met before in "Loud Family Court: The Flames of Justice" and "The Man with the Backup Plan". However, it's possible that this episode takes place before the two aforementioned episodes, which would explain how he knows her only from Mac's instead of from school, as established in the former episode.
      • It is also unknown how he had a crush on her for six years and knew her only because she worked at Mac's, given that it is illegal to employ minors under the age of 14 for most jobs in Michigan.
      • Clyde also explains in "Loud Family Court: The Flames of Justice" that Angie had only moved to Royal Woods a few weeks prior to the events of the episode, making it more unclear how they knew each other for six years.
