On August 13, 2022, Kevin Chamberlin announced that he had been cast as Flip via replies to comments on an Instagram post.[7]
In August 2022, there was a pause in production for the series. It later returned to full production on September 23, 2022.[8]
On September 4, 2022, the series title was revealed to be The Really Loud House, and it was also revealed that it would be released that November.[1] It was also announced that the premiere would move from Paramount+, as had been announced upon the greenlight of the series, to Nickelodeon.
On October 5, 2022, it was revealed that the series would premiere on Nickelodeon on November 3, 2022.[9]
On October 8, 2022, it was announced that Lily would be portrayed by two actresses, as in the live-action film, and that her second actress would be Emily Ford.[10]
On October 27, 2022, Stephen Kramer Glickman announced that he would portray a character in the series.[12] However, his character (namely Milkshake Marty) was unknown until his first appearance in the episode "The Chore Thing".
Production for Season 1 concluded on November 19, 2022.[17]
On January 5, 2023, it was reported that the series had possibly been renewed for a second season.[18] This was officially confirmed on April 4, 2023, alongside the announcement of a Halloween special, A Really Haunted Loud House.[19]
On May 24, 2023, production for the second season was forced to shut down as a result of the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike.[20] The strike finally came to an end on September 27, and on October 9, the WGA membership officially ratified the contract with 99% of WGA members finally voted for the new contract. Production on the second season resumed in Albuquerque in December 2023.[21]

The new series will follow Lincoln Loud, an 11[sic][note 1] year-old boy with 10 sisters, as he navigates everyday life while living with such a large family. Known as the “Man with a Plan,” Lincoln enlists the help of his best friend Clyde McBride to tackle the obstacles and mayhem that they encounter during their daily adventures.
This series has presented many divergences from the timeline of the original series, confirming that it takes place in an alternate universe. Notably, the episode "Nice Guys Finish First" establishes that Lily is still not yet potty-trained, despite the fact that previous episodes had established that Lincoln is in middle school. This contradicts the events of "Schooled!", which depicted the two events happening very closely together. Similarly, "McLouds vs Machine" reveals that the parents met 25 years prior to the events of the episode. However, given that the siblings all appear to be in their ages following the animated series' fifth season, this contradicts the events of The Loud House Movie, which establishes that they met 22 years prior to the film (and with the time skip factored in, 23 years prior to when this series is supposed to take place).
Other divergences may be debatable, including the following:
Seeing as how the series appears to take place following the time skip in the animated series' fifth season, it is likely that the point of divergence lies at the end of the animated series' fourth season.

Main Character Profiles and Descriptions (from official Nick.com)[]
"The first-born Loud child, Lori sees herself as the boss of her siblings. She feels she’s paved the way for them and deserves extra respect. Her hobbies include golf, texting her boyfriend Bobby, rolling her eyes, and literally saying “literally” all the time!"
"An accessorizing fashion fiend, Leni is easily distracted by shiny objects, always falls for Luan’s pranks, and occasionally walks into walls while talking (hey, doing two things at once is tough). She might be scatterbrained, but Leni’s still a sweet sibling with a heart of gold — no, Leni, not ACTUAL gold."
"A raucous rockstar, Luna’s energy is always cranked to 11! She thinks about music so much she even speaks in song lyrics. Even if she doesn’t have her guitar on her, Luna can turn just about anything into an instrument. You can always count on her to help out, and provide a rockin’ guitar solo along the way."
"Luan’s love for standup comedy means she’s a nonstop barrage of jokes, silliness, puns, props, and pranks — that includes squirting flowers and whoopee cushions, so beware! She’s also a really good ventriloquist — just ask her dummy, Mr. Coconuts!"
"Every family needs an athlete, and for the Louds, that’s Lynn! She’s full of energy and always looking for a teammate, so it’s all sports, all the time. Lynn’s super competitive, super-daring, and superstitious. An all-star competitor!"
"Though he’s only a sixth-grader, Lincoln’s the man with the plan (even if things inevitably go off the rails). The middle child between his five older sisters and five younger sisters, Lincoln knows that surviving in the Loud House means staying a step ahead. Being the only boy DOES come with some perks - hey, he’s got his own room! Dealing with that many sisters can be tough, but he loves the whole family and is always willing to lend a hand when they need him."
"You can always count on Lucy to offer a morbid point of view on anything. She’s obsessed with all things dark and spooky — funerals, vampires, séances, ghosts, ghouls...you get the idea. Always wearing black and often writing moody poetry, Lucy usually keeps to herself, but has a habit of mysteriously appearing out of nowhere."
"A rough-and-tumble sparkplug, Lana couldn’t be more different from her twin sister Lola. She’s all about reptiles, mudpies, and mufflers. The Loud House’s resident fixer-upper, she’s always ready to lend a hand, and the dirtier the job, the better!"
"This pageant powerhouse’s interests include glitter, photoshoots, and her own beautiful, beautiful face. Like we said...polar opposite of twin sister Lana. Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets. She’s the family gossip and can’t resist the chance to tattle on troublemakers, acting as the eyes and ears of the household. But stay on her good side and you’ve got a fierce ally!"
"Lisa is most likely destined to become a rocket scientist or a brain surgeon, but in the meantime she spends most of her time working in the lab coming up with inventions to help the rest of the Louds with their various problems. While her research leaves little time for other activities like “playing” or “haircuts,” Lisa has fun in her own way… just ask her about her snowball tank!"
"Lily is the baby of the family but she’s growing up fast! This toddler’s now speaking in full sentences (sometimes) and has stepped up her mischievous ways. Still, Lily manages to bring a smile to everyone’s face, and she remains the whole family’s favorite little buddy!"
"Lincoln’s partner-in-crime! Clyde is Lincoln’s right-hand man for any and all schemes, strategies, and shenanigans. They’re peas in a pod who like all the same movies, TV shows, and toys. Though Clyde’s an only child, he spends enough time with the Louds to be an honorary sibling."
"A fun-loving, upbeat chef and owner of the restaurant Lynn’s Table, the Loud’s dad is a sentimental kid at heart who’s not above getting in on his kids’ zany schemes. Constantly chauffeuring his family around in his trusty Vanzilla, Lynn Sr. also loves British culture and of course, dad jokes!"
"When you’re a mom to eleven kids, you tend to wear many different hats. Rita is organized and keeps the family running like a well-oiled machine. She’s always ready to jump into action during a crisis. When she’s not wrangling everyone together, she writes a column for the Royal Woods Gazette."

Trivia[]
This is the first series in the Loud House franchise:
To premiere in the 2020s decade. (Not counting A Loud House Christmas: Behind the Scenes, which is a web-exclusive documentary series that showcases on-set production of the preceding film.)
To be in live-action.
To not split the regular episodes into two segments. Instead, they all have one plot under a 22-minute timespan.
To have its episodes divided into three acts, as opposed to the single acts of the animated series' regular episodes' two segments and the two acts of full-length episodes (not counting "Schooled!", which has four acts due to being an hour long).
Unlike the animated full-length episodes, which have two uniformly eleven-minute acts, the three acts of Really Loud House vary in length.
To not use title cards or any other method of indicating episode titles.
However, the following episodes do have their titles appear on-screen, albeit not in the form of a title card:
To not have a 30-second intro or a full theme song. Instead, the intro is varyingly 10-15 seconds long (see here for which episodes use which version), and the music is mostly instrumental, with the only spoken lines being "In the Loud House!"/"Really Loud House!"/"In the Really Loud House!"
To regularly use two different openings.
To not have a credits theme, as the music that plays during the credits is different for every episode.
