"There Will Be Mud" is the thirty-sixth episode of the seventh season, and the three-hundred-thirty-first episode of The Loud House.
At the Hunnicut farm, Liam and Mimi are hard at work doing their labors. When Lincoln and Clyde arrive to drop off some muffins for Liam, Mimi, while pulling carrots from the ground, suddenly exposes an oil leak and is shot up into the air. However, to Liam, Lincoln and Clyde's surprise, Mimi is actually very happy, since this discovery of oil will allow them to become rich. Sometime later, numerous pumpjacks have been installed around the farm, and Mimi reveals that, with all the money they've obtained from the oil they discovered, she has bought a new mansion for her, Liam and the farm animals to stay at.
In Huntington Oaks, the Hunnicuts arrive to their new residence, aptly titled Hunnicut Manor. However, their presence scares away one of the residents, Reginald Robertson Riley III. Upon moving in, Liam and Mimi engage in their usual activities, like bathing Virginia in a fountain, and jumping into the pool via a waterslide made of butter. However, their antics are frowned upon by their neighbors, who are more sophisticated and upper-class than them. Taking note of this, Mimi makes the suggestion that they should try to fit in with their neighbors, and when Liam asks how they can do that, Mimi says that she knows who can help them.
At the McBride residence, Howard and Harold are revealed to be the ones Mimi has consulted to help them out on sophistication lessons. These lessons include being told to leave the farm animals out of the house, learning how to speak with accentuated syllables, and proper table manners. Upon finishing these lessons, Howard and Harold tell the two that they can't wait to teach them again tomorrow, but Mimi reveals that she has already organized a party for their neighbors for tonight, much to the McBride patriarchs' shock, saying that the Hunnicuts still have a long way to go. This makes Mimi suggest that they tag along so they can give them pointers during the party, to which the McBrides accept.
That night, the party is about to begin. After letting the guests (including Reginald) in, Liam and Mimi try their best to implement their sophistication lessons, but greatly struggle to do so. This ranges from having to eat pâté without barbeque sauce, playing a game called "statues" (which involves standing still while posing as a statue for more than an hour), and being unable to perform a hoedown while ballroom dancing. Later, Liam walks to the back of the main to meet up with his animals and opens up their gate to offer them a plate of food, since they're not allowed to come in. The second Liam leaves, the animals stop the gate from closing all the way and snicker mischievously.
Later, as the party is about to wind to a close, Reginald admits that it wasn't the fanciest party he attended, but is willing to shake hands with Mimi as a way of accepting them. However, the second they start shaking hands, the animals suddenly barge into the mansion and cause complete chaos. Reginald is appalled by the sudden chaos, but Liam and Mimi tell him that this is normal for them, and eventually come to admit that the upper-class life isn't for them. After deciding that they move back to the farm, Mimi tells Liam that they can let the neighbors have the mansion, where they suddenly begin to fight over an 11th century royal chalice, making Liam remark that they have no sense of manners, before heading back to Royal Woods.
This is the only episode in Season 7 where Howard and Harold have lines.
This episode reveals the following:
Liam carries around a pocket sundial.
One of the gophers that plagues the Hunnicut farm is named Cletus.
Liam's mee-maw is his paternal grandmother, and her first name is Mimi.
The McBrides own two fainting couches (one's usually for Howard, but there are rare instance of Harold fainting as well).
The Hunnicuts are not fond of eating fatty animal organs.
Mimi uses a special call to tame Bessie by making her flip over onto her back.
The Hunnicuts discovering oil on their property is a callback to the Season 6 episode, "Save Royal Woods!", as Lisa mentions that Royal Woods sits on a large oil deposit.
The Hunnicut family moves into Huntington Oaks, the same neighborhood that Lincoln and Clyde trick-or-treated at in "Tricked!".
This episode features a callback to the episode "Crown and Dirty" by showing Virginia being bathed in a fountain.
Irony: Despite his sophistication, Reginald willingly decided to drive the other rich people away from the eleventh-century royal chalice with Liam's BBQ sauce hose.
Cartoon biology: Liam mentions that Bessie does not like the color red. In real life, cattle are colorblind, and the real thing that triggers a bull to charge is the way a matador moves his cape.

There Will Be Mud - The title of this episode is a pun of the 2007 period drama film, There Will Be Blood. Coincidentally, both the episode and the film are about characters discovering oil and becoming rich off of it.
The Beverly Hillbillies - The premise of the episode is similar to this 1962 American sitcom, which is also about farm folks moving to an upper-class city after becoming rich from striking oil.
The Thinker - The McBrides imitate the pose of this bronze sculpture by Auguste Rodin.
Possible: Liam's father and siblings, who have been mentioned in past episodes, are not seen having moved to Huntington Oaks with Liam and Mimi in this episode.
