Hello, and welcome to the last chapter of Not Just a Phase! This chapter will focus on Carl scamming his family and the kids at the daycare.

One morning, one-year-old Carlino "Carl" Casagrande was lying in his crib waiting for one of his parents, grandparents, or siblings to come and take him out. While he was lying there, he was thinking-- his father Carlos had a hat that he wanted very badly, but refused to let him wear. Carl was thinking about how he could acquire that hat, and then he had an idea-- offer Carlos some money in exchange for the hat, but then keep the money for himself.

Once he was taken out of the crib and changed into his daywear and a new diaper, he crawled into the bedroom of his five-year-old brother CJ (which he would later move into once his other brother, Carlitos, was born), stole some money, then presented it to Carlos.

"Thank you," said Carlos, but Carl pointed at the hat and snatched the money away.

"OK," said Carlos, "I'll let you wear the hat, but only for five minutes," which is what he did. However, when Carlos's back was turned, Carl snatched the money away.

Then, Carl had daycare, and during play time, he decided that he could trick the other babies into giving him their diapers. He drew them some drawings and indicated that they could have them, but only if they gave him their diapers.

When the worker saw the majority of the babies going bottomless and Carl holding their diapers and laughing, he snapped a photo of it, but then made Carl drop the diapers so that he could re-diaper the babies.

Then, realising that his mother Frida had recently commented that she was running low on paint, Carl stuffed some tubes of paint into his diaper.

Then, when Frida was pushing his stroller past the toy store, he offered her the paint... but only if she would buy him a new teddy bear.

The next day, Carl stole Hector's guitar and wouldn't give it back until Hector gave him a jar of candy from the store. Then, he pretended to cry until his nine-year-old sister Carlota gave him her beach ball.

Feeling on a roll now, Carl decided to scam Sergio as well, this time out of a box of crackers.

He took one lollipop out of the jar Hector gave him, but Sergio said, "No way!".

So, Carl dug out two lollipops, but Sergio said, "Still no."

Carl then dug out four lollipops, and Sergio finally gave in.

However, Carl could not get them back as he'd planned, since Sergio immediately began licking them.

Carl then crawled into CJ's room, attempting to use the candy to scam CJ out of his cape, but then Rosa appeared.

"Not so fast, Carl!", she said, "I know you've been tricking everyone, but it stops right now. You must give everyone their stuff back immediately!".

Carl sighed, but he did what he was told-- after all, there was no other option with Rosa.
