Lincoln asked to give Clyde's cool game a try.

Clyde said yes but he had some fear in his eye.

He then said, "I'll have to be screen-free tomorrow.".

Lincoln said, "Then is it fine if I borrow,

The game?" and Clyde thought, "Oh my gosh! It might break!

But I'll let him borrow the game for his sake."

He had second thoughts, but thought, "This is tough,"

When Linc said, "You're cool about sharing your stuff."

Clyde then had trouble sleeping at night.

The idea of his game breaking gave him a fright.

He thought, "I've made my mind up. I can't let him do it,

But what if he ends our friendship and we can't renew it?"

After a few awkward moments of thinkin',

Clyde said, "I'll just spend the whole day with Lincoln."

He took the game out of its complex suitcase,

And then told a lie with fear on his face:

"I walked here so hard that my feet are in pain."

"Clyde, you rode your bicycle over. Explain."

Clyde McBride said, "I mean my pedals hurt me,"

So he and Linc went in as quick as could be.

Juice, books, and bird poop were all falling down.

All of this danger was making Clyde frown.

He said, "Please give me ice,". Linc said, "OK".

Clyde climbed up and put the juice out of the way.

Lincoln said, "Clyde, what are you doing here?"

"The wind is bad for your immune system, I fear.

Can I have a drink? My feet no longer hurt,"

And he stalled by spilling Lincoln's juice on his shirt.

Lincoln said, "I have my laundry to do."

Clyde said, "Don't worry- I'll do it for you."

Linc said to Clyde, "I'm sure you've had your fun."

Clyde said, "Your blanket's thin. I'll knit a new one."

Cliff had muddy paws. Clyde was worried 'bout that,

But he threw some yarn and distracted the cat.

Lincoln said, "I have to go to the john."

Clyde came in too and Linc said, "What's going on?!

Wait, I know, you want to play this game, don't you?".

Clyde played along and said, "Yes, Linc, that's true."

Lincoln said, "I have a way free of doubt,

You can not play this game." and he threw Clyde right out.

Clyde looked in the window, when what did he see,

But everything being as chaotic as could be.

Lola painted her nails and Lucy drank juice.

Charles, with a jar on his head, ran 'round loose.

Luan had a pie and Lynn ran about.

Lana was muddy to add to Clyde's doubt.

Lily had paint so Clyde went in to spy.

He stole Lynn's hockey puck right in front of her eye.

He tripped up Lily and drank Leni's drink.

He then tripped up Lisa before she could think.

Clyde then stole Lynn Sr.'s new pizza dough.

He hid under the table to steal flowers, but, oh no!

It was dinner time. He thought, "This isn't bad,"

But Lana gave him a sausage, which made Charles mad.

Lana looked down and she saw young Clyde there.

So Clyde explained all about the game and his fear.

Lincoln said, "It's fine. I won't feel too bad."

And he protected the game from the food dropped by Dad.
