It was time for the yearbook at Royal Woods Elementary.
Patowski was the grouchiest coach of the century.
Lincoln and Clyde said, "Oh no! Take a look:
We didn't bring our photo to put in the yearbook!".
Liam said, "Maybe you'll end up forgotten,
Like my neighbour Marty." They thought, "That sounds rotten!".
Lola was also in quite a bad mood.
She said, "Coach Patowski, that fool of a dude,
Took a really bad photo which could lead to my career.
Going down the drain!" and she roared like a bear.
She said, "Solving this is what I need to do!",
And the boys said, "We need to solve our problem too!".
They dressed up in suits with powdered wigs up on top.
They got powder in the pic and got thrown with a plop.
They dressed up for Chess Club but knocked a table down.
The rest of the kids beat them up with a frown.
They then posed with Lucy and her goth pals.
Lucy and Haiku, the eerie young gals,
Said, "Pose in the coffins, that'd be cool!",
But they weren't seen, so how could they be remembered at school?
Lola said to Leni, "Take my picture now.",
But dopey ol' Leni didn't know how.
Luan pied her face. Lisa did an X-ray.
"My future's at stake!", Lola did say,
"Can no one take a shot of me without being silly?!"
Then who took a proper one but little Lily?
Lincoln and Clyde were feeling quite down,
When they both heard Lola proclaim with a frown:
"Hire more staff if the coach is too tired!"
"That's it!", said the boys, "We just have to be hired!".
They got hired on the spot and said, "Hi ho! Yippee!".
Lola entered with muffins and said, "Can you help me?".
They edited photos to put themselves in.
Lola said, "Finally, my hope's not worn thin!".
"Yes!", said the boys, "We now have legacy!",
But Coach said, "I have done the yearbook, you see."
Clyde said, "How 'bout I psychoanalyse you?".
It worked and so Lincoln said, "Now, what to do,
Is upload the files.", but it took a long time,
And Linc felt as though he'd committed a crime.
Coach Patowski sounded terribly sad,
But thanks to young Clyde, the coach stopped feeling bad.
Lincoln, however, still felt like a fool.
He didn't have time to do his job at school.
"Why are we not in the photos?" said Clyde.
"I felt bad for Lola," Lincoln replied.
Lola said, "Boys, I will not forget you!",
And they got into the yearbook staff shot too.
