This is a blog post series where I discuss my thoughts on the Loud House Siblings. Welcome to Episode 6: Thoughts on Luna Loud. Prepare for a pretty controversial one. This isn’t going to end well and also maybe it wasn’t a good idea to write this, but let’s get into it.
Luna is a neutral character to me. Unlike Leni, another neutral sister, I actually kind of like Leni, but she still is neutral. However Luna is just neutral and I don’t like her. She really is an overrated character and I’m standing on the point that she is the most overrated character in the show. She also got the reputation as the “nicest sister”, but to me that isn’t true. The only reason she got that the stupid title was because she was the first sister to bond with Lincoln alone in For Bros About to Rock. In that episode it didn’t help as all it did was give a flashback to why she was so wild, but that isn’t character development at all to me since it is a flashback and she was too wild and could have learned to tone it down. I’m sorry, but the wiki is kind of wrong with the whole Linc has a special bond with her since that isn’t true and Yes Man proves all of them love Linc and he loves them equally. In House Music, she acts like a giant hypocrite because she says “all it matters is to have fun” to her family, but after she hears Mc Swagger (a washed out rock star) is coming she forgets what the point of the family band in the first place and starts to act selfish. She later does learn, but only because Mc Swagger told her so in his disguise. L is for Love did nothing as well to make me like her because all it did was her come out as bisexual and it doesn’t go anywhere. I’m neutral to LGBT and not because of my religion, but because I think it’s weird and I wouldn’t really want to get involved with it since it is too controversial for me. I don’t see anything in her that relates to me. Music is not something I’m a big fan of, I like some songs, but I hate singing. Her singing comes off really cringey and so does her fake British accent which is annoying. The reason I was fine with Tabby having one is because that’s her voice, but when Luna does it, it comes off annoying to me.
Some of her fans are very toxic and biased for Luna and this wiki had those people. Not an attack, just the brutal honest truth as I hated how some fanfic writers were so biased to have Luna or Leni always on Linc’s side and the other ones bad. Don’t lie; this happened a lot here and on other sites. This site had the most and I’m just glad that stupid trope is not being used anymore. You can have Luna and Leni be on Linc’s side, but why not let the rest of them on the Linc’s side, since that would happen and you wouldn’t be so biased. I don't like if a fanbase can impact my view on a character, but it does for Luna and isn't much.
She isn’t a bad character just one that comes off as a very bland character. She is my least favorite sister. She is the 10th rank on my sibling list for a very long time and I hope Season 3 improves her.
