Character

Principal Wilbur T. Huggins is a recurring character in The Loud House. He is the principal of Royal Woods Elementary School, and was first mentioned in "Making the Grade", but makes his first physical appearance in "Frog Wild".

Background

Pre-Series History

As a kid, he was a lonely boy who didn't have any friends to keep him company. Instead, he had Ace Savvy comics, which made him very happy, despite the harsh criticism he got from three boys who were playing baseball nearby. He wanted to make his own comic and get recognized but failed so he focused on studying. He worked towards becoming a teacher and later a principal of his school.

Personality

Principal Huggins takes his role very seriously as a school director. He's very strict towards the school rules, and he can be intimidating for some students.

But aside from that, he has a childlike attitude, as he loves to read Ace Savvy comics, despite his age. He seems to have an obsessive side as he stole Lincoln and Clyde's comics.

Whenever Huggins is either serious or angry, he tells someone that he'll do something for their benefit, only to shout "NOT!" one second later.

Appearance

He is a half-bald elderly man, with gray hair, and a gray mustache. He wears a white shirt, a dark teal suit jacket, a baby blue tie, brown shoes, and beige pants with a black belt.

As a child, he had curly brown hair, freckles and buck teeth with braces as a resemblance of Luan's teeth. He had a blue shirt with a white stripe, blue jeans, white sneakers, and also wore a propeller hat.

Alternative version

In the universe of Full House Gang, his counterpart are Wild Card Willy.

Trivia

  • He won an award for perfect attendance thirty years before Clyde.[1] It is also revealed he went to Royal Woods Elementary School.
  • He suffers from motion sickness.[2]
  • His toupee is made out of horse hair.[3]
  • In "Lucy and the Mortician's Club", it's revealed that he does some "dance laps" which is a hard exercise.
  • Although he attended Royal Woods Elementary School, it is unknown if he attended Royal Woods Middle School or Royal Woods High School since his adolescence.
  • He is one of the few recurring characters to play an antagonistic role in more than one episode (in his case being "Frog Wild" and "Pulp Friction"), along with Chandler, Flip and Scoots.
  • He is a difficult customer.[4]
  • He has occasionally written letters to Lana asking her to bathe more often, but eventually gave up.[5]
  • He, alongside Mrs. Johnson don't appear or get mentioned in Season 7, and Season 7 marks the first time where Principal Huggins doesn't appear since Season 2.
