Lana creates an auto-body shop to try and buy a new bike, but her shop turns corrupt when Flip becomes her mentor.
Synopsis[]
Lana is riding her bicycle around town with Hops. After the two realize that the bike is not in the best shape, they discover a brand-new bike on display at a store. Lana, thinking she'll be cool if she rides it, wants to buy it, but discovers that it costs $300. Suddenly, Flynn, one of Lana's classmates, comes careening down the sidewalk on his bike and crashes. Lana decides to help out Flynn by fixing up his bike, and Flynn, impressed with Lana's repair skills, decides to give her some of his allowance as a thanks. This causes Lana to get the idea of opening their own shop so they can help anyone who needs repairs.
Lana decides to open up her shop in her house's garage, and soon enough, she gets a line of customers. Unfortunately, because the other siblings share the garage, Lana's business suffers badly, like mistaking one of Lisa's chemicals for oil, Lincoln knocking down a tire rack while pretending to be David Steele, and Luna blaring her amps. As a result, Lana only succeeds in making a few cents. Under Hops' suggestion, Lana decides to post flyers around town to see if anyone is willing to loan their garage to her. After posting flyers at Flip's Food and Fuel, they discover that there's a perfectly good garage nearby. At that moment, Flip exits and says that he hasn't had much use for it since Nacho converted it into his "raccoon cave". When Lana sadly comments that she'll look elsewhere to raise money for a new bike, Flip, realizing that he could make money off of this, decides to let Lana use the garage on the condition that she share her earnings with him.
After cleaning up the garage to start her business, Lana begins to get customers soon enough. However, for every customer that Lana helps out with, Flip would either resort to incredibly cheap tactics or charge them with steep prices, like charging Rodney $50 for the service and for every single item to cure his bee stings after it was discovered that there was a beehive in his engine, replacing the fan belt in Scoots' scooter with the belt on his pants (while still charging her under the impression that it's new), and breaking off the pedals on Cheryl and Meryl's tandem bike so that they'll be charged alongside the rusty chain Lana agreed to fix. Lana becomes worried that she's ripping off her customers, but it swayed by Flip into continuing with this if it means she'll get the money needed to buy the bike.
Later, the Fox family arrives, with Mr. Fox telling Lana that he and Mrs. Fox are taking the quints to Dairyland and wants her to perform a tire rotation on their van. After the Fox family leaves, Flip decides to tamper with the van by taking out the spark plugs, with Lana suggesting use beef jerky to hide their dirty work. Soon enough, Lana makes the $300 needed to buy the new bike. However, while she marvels at it, the Fox's van arrives and sputters to a stop. Because of the condition the van is in, Mr. Fox breaks the news that they'll have to cancel their trip to Dairyland, causing the quints to begin crying. Lana, feeling bad for them (and after witnessing Scoots crash her scooter due to Flip's belt), decides to check up on the van. After saying that the van has a spark plug issue, Mr. Fox, knowing he'll have to pay extra, tells the kids that their pizza dinner will have to be cancelled for the week, causing them to cry even harder. Unable to see what her and Flip's dirty tactics have done to their customers, Lana decides to use her money to pay for the spark plugs, admitting her misdeed.
Sometime later, Lana has decided to end her partnership with Flip and reopen her business at her house's garage, under the promise of honest service, and with a schedule on who gets to use the garage. Suddenly, Flip arrives, upset that Lana is no longer doing business with him, but at that moment, Rodney, Scoots, Cheryl and Meryl, who have just heard Flip admitting having scammed them, proceed to chase after him.
